A friend suggested this attorney , Johnathan J Lord , to me to perform an annulment. I paid him $1500.00 to file the paperwork. I thought this was excessive, but my friend was using him at the time and I was more concerned with results. I was working out of town for a couple of months and was unavailable to be reached at the number that I had given him. Yes, this was my fault not updating my contact info, but I also heard from my friend that he was not very aggressive in the courtroom and he was costing him a fortune. He also said he was looking for another attorney. Hearing this, I decided that I did not want his services either. I asked to refund my money with the exception of a fee for the initial filing. I thought this was fair, but instead I received a letter from Mr. Lord stating that since I was unreachable for that time, I was not entitled to any of the money that I paid them.

If you are looking for an attorney, find someone that is willing to work their money as hard as you work for yours. Not just sit there like a sponge, soaking up people’s hard earned money with disappointment in return.
