After dealing with this establishment for 30 Years NO MORE. I get my cat shaved once a year, not to mention other services. The girl on the phone quotes me around $150 TOPS. Mind you it was $140 13 Months ago. Take the kitty down at 7AM On my Birthday, doctor says it going to be $241 FOR SEDATION AND A SHAVE. Oh since he hasn't been there in over a year he'll needs an exam, REALLY. Collected my kitty and left. Called the clinic and asked to speak with a supervisor. They HAGGLED me down to 150 Dollars. Why couldn't they have done this in the first place before I left. After my cats gone I'll never be able to afford to own another pet thanks to greedy institutions. I guess in the good ole USA. If you don't have money, you don't have healthy pets, was never like that before. In addition, 13 Months ago they haggled me down on price for this service also.

Misdiagnosed my pet

$$$$$=Lone Mountain Animal Hospital. They not only misdiagnosed my pet...performed needless, expensive tests (3 of which had to be performed again due to errors in the first test samples!!!). They don't have payment plans and they charge for demonstrating how a medicine is administered! YES! You get charged extra if they have to show you how to give your pet medicine or anything else!
They suck...do your homework and find a qualified Vet hospital.

Horrible

Treats their employees horrible and speaks to them even worse and calls them names. I heard this from the room while waiting for my dog. I will never spend another dime to keep this place open. Maybe if they learn how to run a business and appreciate the people who keep it running there would not be so much turn over.

Been going here for 25 years, why I don't know! March 14 I took my Lab mix for a diagnosis of his hips. X-Rays Blood work and pain and anti inflammatory medication was $985! They needed $500 up front! 6 Hours later I believe it was doctor Stone? Advised us his blood work was great (no cancer) but he had severe arthritis. To make a long story short he was fine for 13 days and the symptoms came back worse than ever! I raised his pain medication from 1 tablet every 6 hours to 1 every 4. this did nothing. I had Waggin Wheels come to my house on the 31st (Easter Sunday) to put him out of his misery. I was told recently by another vet. that medications have come so far that he could have been put on a steroid or similar. Thanks guys, I will be getting my cats records transferred elswhere!!!

I have to disagree with the pe...

I have to disagree with the person in Jan who posted the poor review of this hospital. First it is unfortunate the outcome of his/her beloved pet, I totally understand the depth of loss for a pet and I don't know his/her experience at this hospital, but I do know mine. That experience has been nothing but wonderful. I found them from Angie's List (which by the way gives this hospital an A rating) and have been happy with my services. The staff has been great and even though my pets have not had to have major care, what minor things have needed attention were reasonably priced.

I dunno what these other Jokers are talkin' about...

Lone Mountain Animal Hospital is NOT outrageously priced, only concerned about money or engaged in constant up selling.

I am here to say that they do NOT charge an exam fee if all you are doing is coming in to get your pet's shots updated. That saved me $30+ right there, compared with other Vets in the area.

The receptionist was prompt, friendly and courteous on the phone, and I am thrilled to have found a new doctor for my furbaby.
