L&L is currently the closest that we have come to food that tastes like it’s actually from Hawaii. There was one mom-and-pop place that had one-up on L&L, but they’ve retired, so we’ve been at L&L much more. The food is cooked fresh & is always hot and yummy, and there’s a wide selection for those of us who are less adventurous. My fiancée is from Kona & gives L&L the stamp of approval. This location isn’t particularly the cleanest but the food’s great so we just get it to go.
