"My three children have been attending Kidz Kidz Kidz since October 2009.  My oldest is now in preschool and she has leaned so much.  She now knows how to write her name and she is beginning to read.  My three year old is also beginning to write and her vocabulary has much improved.  My two year old sings her ABC's every time I pick her up from school.  I wouldn't bring my kids anywhere else."

I worked at the Horizon Ridge location and would NEVER leave my own child there, which is why I quit after a month or so of working there. I had been told by other parents of the kids in my class that the teacher turnover rate was so high - I was the third teacher in that classroom in less than a year. The place is a JOKE. I don't know what the parents pay monthly, but this is a daycare center not a preschool. Do not waste money here and more importantly, do not endanger your children's lives here. I've been left with 20 children sometimes - Nevada state law only allows something like 11-13 children maximum for three year olds. Also, there was a special needs student who was the biggest sweetheart, but was a handful and would sometimes push shelves over which was a danger to the other kids. There was NO help when I asked, and we were often short on food (lunch). I could go on, but I think these reasons are more than enough to send your child elsewhere.

My daughter loves her new school! She is so happy to go to school at KidzKidzKidz. The staff is wonderful and the activities are great! There is "Happy Feet" soccer and "Tumble Bus" gymnastics. It is so nice to be free of having to coax her to go to pre-school. If you are looking for a great pre-school for your child, take a tour at this facility before you decide.

TROPICANA-ROCKS

We had our son in the Tropicana school for a little over a year. Everyone is extremely friendly and easy to get along with. We were sad to leave. My son was in Ms.Tiffany's class. She is a Great teacher. The kids really like her. He loved all the teachers there. We miss having him at Kidz. Thank you Ms Sabrina and Ms Tiffany for everything.

I would never recommend any of these facilities to any parent. I was taking my son to the Horizon Ridge location, and not only are their staff unprofessional, but they put my child in danger on a number of occasions. The first incident happened when my son was only 6 weeks old. The teacher, Ms. Taylor, had my son in a bouncy chair on the floor unattended while other children that are well over 1 year of age are walking around. One of the older children belly flopped on my son twice as I watched from their online cameras. When the older child jumped on him I realized she had my son's bottle propped up in his mouth, because she was too lazy to hold him while he hate. The older child then took his bottle and walked around with it for a few minutes before she took it from him and stuck it back in my child's mouth without sanitizing it first. Not only is this unsanitary, but I could not believe what I had just witnessed. When I spoke with Kristin, the so called "director" of the facility she said it was a lack of judgement and would not happen again. She was extremely rude about the situation and made it seem like it was no big deal. On two other occasions I had picked up my son and realized that his bottles were completely melted on the bottom of them. When asked what happened their staff said they did not notice this. I don't understand how you could NOT notice the bottles were melted when you held him to feed him. How hot was the milk they fed him if they did not notice they were melted? I pulled him out that same day when they had him in a high chair unattended, with the teacher across the room, when he was only 2 months old. He couldn't even sit up on his own!!!! Please do not take your children here!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars!!!!! This is the absolute worst place I have ever had the displeasure of working. Management is horrific. I was denied bathroom breaks, regular breaks, lied to about wages and hours, was clocked out by management on more than one occasion, which is illegal. They gave me the run around about every question and concern I had. They would leave me with an illegal amount of children according to the Nevada License laws and I am in the process of reporting them to the Nevada Labor Board. Aside from that, the facility is filthy, bottles full of milk are left out, baby swing covers soaked in urine were not laundered, there is no trash can inside the infant room, the table, before i began working there had not been cleaned in months. I was reprimanded for taking too long to properly clean the room. I got into the field of child care because I care about children, it is clear the management at this daycare couldn't care less about kids, they only want your money. They mislead parents by telling them that even in the infant room their children will be taught the fundamentals for their age. I did the best I could, but I was not trained AT ALL, they even let me work my first day without checking my Sheriff's card or TB test or even copying my SSC, so I wasn't even legally allowed to be there! I knew it was fishy from the jump. I was hired as an Infant Room Assistant Teacher but I never once worked in the room with anyone else. It would just be me alone with 6-8 babies, infants and toddlers (toddlers are not supposed to be in my room and the legal amount of children of that age to adult in the state of Nevada is 4) for 5 or more hours with absolutely no help, breaks, or guidance. On one occasion i asked for a break and was told i would get it shortly, an hour passed and I requested a break again, getting the same answer. Finally, 5 and a half hours into my shift I was relieved for a break. I would suggest that no one ever apply for, or work for this company!!! They are also not even registered with the Better Business Bureau. Though I did my best under the circumstances, seeing how filthy the place is, how many children they leave with one person and the managements total disregard for their employees and the children I would urge you to NEVER EVER EVER bring your child to this place! There are plenty of other low-cost child care facilities that HAVE to be better than this. The way I was treated and the disgusting conditions in this place were absolutely shocking. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I've been on and off with Sout...

I've been on and off with Southern Highlands for 1.5. It was bearable more or less when Kim (administrator) was there, but since she has left over 2 months ago, I took him out of the it completely as it because impossible to work with the front administrators - rude, unconcerned, clueless, change their prices, forget things, try to overcharge, inflexible. There is an amazing teaching for kids up to 2 yrs old, Daniella, who truly has been the highlight and we enjoyed her approach and care, but now that my son is over 2 yrs old he is supposed to be in a larger group with too high teacher / student ratio and really awful teachers there. Yes, I would say STAY AWAY from this place. MAnagement is horrific!!!

This keeps the their ideas fresh, and up to speed with all the latest preschool standards and teaching methods. Safety & Security: At Kidz Preschool your child's safety always comes first. Our watchful eyes monitor any guests who may drop in, and all visitors must sign the visitor's log and state the purpose of their visit. No visitor is ever left unsupervised by our staff members. Our facilities include a secured coded entry, so only staff and families with the protected code can access the entrance. We also have a full alarm system which lets us know when any door or window is opened during the day. Each child must be checked in and out on the touch screen computer daily, using a unique PIN code given only to parents or others that are authorized to pick up the child. No child is releases to an adult without proper authorization. In addition, every classroom is equipped with a security camera. The owner and front office staff can easily observe classroom activities throughout the day, even when they are away (via computer). In fact, you will also be able to watch your child through these cameras.
