BAD BAD BAD Customer Service from Kimber - Sales Manager at this store!!! She refuses to honor their warranty on my battery, the battery being only 11 months old and is CRACKED, and is defective! I have been having problems with this battery for two months, but was told I needed a new alternator, which I got, and STILL continued to have problems with the battery dying, and leaving me stranded several times! Then I was told I needed a new battery wiring harness (which connects to the battery), because the terminals on the old one were corroding, so I got a new harness. At that time the old harness was taken off, it was discovered that there was a crack in the battery plastic at the post! Because of this crack in the battery, acid had leaked all over the battery and EVERYWHERE else under the hood, and the acid had badly corroded the right terminal (which was connected to the battery), this causing the harness to be replaced. In addition, the leaking acid was all over other parts of the engine, and was corroding them also! All of this and Kimber will not replace my worthless broken defective battery! With this crack, the battery has the potential to explode, which I explained to her, and still she said she would not honor the warranty! Shame on the management/Kimber and owner/Marcia of this Interstate store!!! I am done with Interstate, this is the THIRD Interstate battery I have had in a two year period, all BAD batteries, all had problems! I am guessing I am not the only one who has had problems with bad batteries from Interstate?
