Today would have been my first appointment with this practice. The office staff was unbelievably rude. I was told to be there 30 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork which took roughly 10 minutes. When asking a direct question regarding the privacy of my personal information, I was simply told that if I didn't allow the to copy my information, the Dr. would not see me. They would not answer a direct question unless I asked at least 3 times. While I was waiting for my information to be returned the two staff members proceeded to make unkind remarks about me in Spanish. Just because I am white does not mean I do not understand Spanish. The nurse that did vitals and collected medical information was very nice and professional. I was kept waiting for another 30 minutes. I decided to leave because I was in so much pain that I couldn't sit any more. That is when I found out that they double book appointments so there is no way that the Dr. can run on time. As a patient, I have a right to question the security of my personal information. Because I did this, the Dr. told me that he did not want me as a patient. If this Dr. only wants patients that will blindly do as they are told without questioning, I say that is really a shame.
