Horrible experience. They broke one of my pieces at the front door, then blamed me for this. I will never use them again.....Very Unprofessional to call the customer and say I was not being truthful!!

We love Home Consignment. Whenever we need something for the house it's our first stop. We found furniture for every room of our Green Valley home there.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I scheduled for a viewing for Marie ( the manager ) to come to my home andstorage unit to price my furniture. 1st of all she was over 2 hours late. I believe she works on "Marie Time" and the rest of the world should revolve around her. When she priced my storage unit items most of which were very expensive items when originally purchased she did not give them much value at all. When i brought her to my home to price a dining table and bedroom set the values were 200% more than the storage unit items. Naturally I wanted to be there when the movers came to pick up the items and I wanted Marie to come back to reprice the storage unit items since most were wrapped for protection. Well I scheduled a Saturday 2 weeks in advance. At 1:30 the moving co called to give me a 30 minute window to meet me at the storage unit. The movers were on time. I called Marie to tell her we would be going to my home to pick up those items first and back to the storage unit last. Marie said she would not be coming to my home and would meet me at the storage unit and to call her when we were on our way. Well I did just that . I called 3 times and went to VM 3 times.we waited at the storage unit for an hour for her. Oh and by that time there were 2 moving trucks. Did I mention the client pays the movers? I finally called the Consignment Store to see where Marie was being we had an appointment for 2 weeks. When I called the store she was there and helping another customer all the while I am waiting for her and paying the movers hourly rate. I told her how upset I was and how unprofessional she was handling this.she told me when she was finished with her customer she would leave to meet me. Did I mention she is on Eastern/215 and my storage unit on Russell/215. Needless to say she kept me and 4 moving guys and 2 trucks waiting.I guess her time is the only time that important. I dont recommend this place as it is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. if she treats her customers this way that provide the merchandise to be sold in her store I can only imagine what she does to her buyers. I did not use them to sell my furniture.

It has been about 5 yrs since I shopped here, but I stop by all the time. I am surprised this place only has one review listed. I have many unique ideas from this store, including a bistro table w/2 chairs on my front porch. If you are looking for a specific item, just keep visiting the store, and I assure you it will come in eventually. I love the staff and they are very helpful. At one time they knew me by name. A stop here is a must, if you would like to get quality items for your house and not spend the kids college fund.
