Dr. Lonnie Hammargren Tribute! Exciting New Antique and Treasure Market is now open in the Boulevard Mall, Las Vegas. There are few names that are considered more synonymous with the world of antiques and collectables than Nevada ex Lt. Governor, Neurosurgeon Dr. Lonnie Hammargren. It is fitting therefore that a project aimed at creating one of Americas finest Antique and Treasure markets is being developed as a tribute to Dr. Hammargren's lifetime work of preserving Nevada's history. The man behind the project is retired archaeologist Dr. Peter J. Shield PhD, well known author, radio and television broadcaster and photojournalist, who has spent the last two years working with Dr. Hammargren on Lonnie's biography. Dr. Shield approached the new owner of Las Vegas' iconic Boulevard Shopping Mall, local property developer Roland Sansone, who recently bought the property for a reported 52 million dollars, with the concept. Roland believes that the Antique and Treasure Market could play an important role in revitalizing the Boulevard, combined with a host of exciting new tenants and services designed to revitalize what was once one of the most prominent commercial districts. Dr. Shield expects stage 1. (the first 20 Antique and collectable dealers) to be in place and operating by the end of December. "The Hammargren Tribute Exhibition Hall" The Market will feature the display of selected items from the 'Hammargren' collection on a rotating basis, and a permanent collection of selected items from Dr. Hammargren's' Home of Southern Nevada. Latest addition is the Temple of Ra' Wedding Services.Dr. Lonnie Hammargren Tribute! Exciting New Antique and Treasure Market is now open in the Boulevard Mall, Las Vegas.
