Thank you Mia & staff for doing such a great job with Coconut. I highly recommend Groomingdales, as this was my dog's first time

getting professionally groomed. I held off because she is such a hyper dog, so I had my concerns. I was so surprised at the great job they did. Thank you so much & I will definitely be back!!

I have a white male Persian kitten and decided to get him groomed at this place, the first 2 times I took him in, they did not trim his nails and I always had to ask them to remove the bows they kept on placing behind his ears since they kept thinking he was a female (he has not been neutered yet) the 3rd time I took him and my moms Persian cat in for cuts. My cat was supposed to get only a hygiene cut and nail trim, my moms cat was getting a lion cut. Came back to pick them up, my Persian had his full belly hair removed and he had cuts on his nipples plus the nails were not clipped, they must have mistaken one cut for the other because he had several cuts throughout his coat and half of his tale hair was cut skin lengt wich means no hair at all.. Same thing with my moms cat, you could see the tracs all over her fur, the hair was way too short and her nails were not clipped and to top it off all her nipples had cuts and were red, all her skin was visibly red.. I can't stress enough how mad I was, never ever going back again!

My sister Geri Glardon is having a difficult time getting the, close to $400 vet bill paid that this owner, Scott, cost her, as her pet was terrribly traumatized and injured there. He is not taking responsibility, and erased his survlleince tapes, immediately, rather than be responsible for his company's actions. We are awaiting his re-imbursement to my sister. She is an Elder who is disabled, and is having a difficult time paying her food bills this month due to his disregard of her attempts to be re-imbursed by him. WE will let you know if he pays her. My sister had been bringing her per there 3 years to have her dogs nails trimmed. This time they groomed her 3 dogs. the injuries were horrific and evident the minute my sister walked into his waiting room. I will continue to post on this site, and go onto yelp, etc. until this owner pays up. I will further report him to the authorities for an investigation. He can settle this grievance by paying the $398 ASAP, as it has been since May he has chosen to ignore his responsibility or inform his insurance co. That is if he even carries Liability insurance. We shall see. I will continue to post until this is resolved.

I took my dog to this place trying something new. My husband called to make an appointment and they had an opening so we left right away. Dropped our dog off and left( dropped him off at 11am). Seemed like a nice clean friendly place, so we were impressed. We went to pick up the dog at 4 and he only had a bath. Not been trimmed, nails not done, nothing.. So my husband had to sit there for at least 30 more minutes for the lady to finish him. On top of that, there was no bandana which we read on the website was part of the package. They could have at least called us to let us know he wasn't going to be ready by 4. When my husband spoke to the women and questioned why he wasn't done her response was that it was a busy day. She didn't even take responsibly for it! Very unorganized place. A week later I gave my dog a bath at home and he wasn't cut evenly! There was a huge chunk on his face they missed and his fur between his pads wasn't done correctly. He shake horrible in the bath tub, which I have never had a problem bathing him before. Never taking him back there again!

I went to this place. First time ever having a dog 'groomed' ???I found it to be a dump.They clipped all of his face after I told them 'very cleaarly' NOT TO!He was not brushed at all.I am wondering now how much trouble they took even bathing him. He was not that clean.I found their service unacceptable. I will NEVER go back there. His nails were not clipped as I had requested.Discusted customer.

This was a terrible first experiance grooming for my puppy. I was assured over the phone that grooming would take about 2 1/2 hours and that was groom time not wait in a cage time. When I arrived 3 hours after my scheduled app time to check on her she had only had a bath and was sitting in a cage..... Wow I wonder how these people would feel if they made an apointment for a hairdresser and then waited in a cage for 2 or more hours untill someone could get to them.....LIARS and they charged me $20 for torturing my baby.

I took my Shih Tzu to Groomingdales and gave the groomer specific instructions on how long I wanted his fur. I made sure to stress that I did not want him shaved or short! My dog was at the Durango location for 5 1/2 hours and when I went to pick him up I did not even recognize my own dog! He was completely shaved and looked like a poodle (not that there is anything wrong with poodles...but he is a Shih Tzu!). When I complained about the service the manager did not care that I was unhappy with the cut. I was told that "there are worse problems in the world" and "it will grow back". While both these statements may be true, I paid for a service and did not receive what I paid for. If they could not groom my dog the way I requested I should have been called so that I could have taken him someplace else. Save yourself the $40 disappointment and find a groomer that actually cares about what they do.

Groomingdales on Craig Rd and Decatur is outstanding. The shop was clean and the staff apparently care about the animals. My dog was ready on time, and she looks great.



After a few months of some rather awful service from a Mobile Groomer, Kristen and her staff did a great job!. I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but this shop was very impressive. If your looking for a great groomer, heres the place.
