MINUS FIVE STARS!!!

- PLEASE CHECK GOOGLE REVIEW FOR PICTURES OF DAMAGES -

Harrison Parker Rebel, the business owner, contracted to do our yard renovation, which included replacing all the grass with artificial turf and changing the decorative rock on a 1/2 acre property, moving some plants, and installing new irrigation and lighting.

He presented himself as a fully licensed contractor, and stated he was insured and bonded.

He is extremely personable (don't be fooled), even telling a story of an organ transplant to build trust and empathy.

He came recommended by the sales agent at a local nursery, so unfortunately I did not investigate further.

Our six week job kept getting extended out (several months) as apparently he was taking on new business, and assumingly, down payments, and never had the staff to complete the jobs.
During the period in which he DID show up, using a large "bobcat" earthmover, he cracked and massively damaged large sections of our stamped and stained concrete driveways, using no protection for them.

The artificial turf installation was so incorrectly done, that he came back three times to fix it, before fully abandoning the project.

I now have $11,500 dollars of repairs necessary for the concrete alone, and approximately 8-10 Thousand dollars in turf and yard repairs. Turf seams were OFTEN not joined with the required tape, areas not adequately nailed, areas were joined without trimming the end of roll "backing" (black edge in grass "attempted repair" picture), green sand was dumped onto the turf (and other areas) instead of using a spreader as required, and we are missing weed barrier under much of the rock (all new gravel) throughout the project.

He originally accepted responsibility (thankfully the conversation was recorded), but has since refused contact.

Now I have to litigate and file complaints with all the authorities, including the state Contractors Board.

HE DOES NOT HAVE A CONTRACTORS LICENSE!!!
He has a Clark County business license for tree trimming, with a maximum job value under $1,000 (I am currently working to get that revoked for intentional misuse, and misrepresentation on the application filing).

I encourage anyone else having been duped by this business to contact the Contractors Board, as we currently need one more contract over $1000 to allow him to be prosecuted at the Felony level.

Mr. REBEL abandoned (at least) one other project in the neighborhood also...
There, he used "Liquid Nails" to install decorative retaining blocks unevenly & improperly. Corrective action can only be taken by starting all over, as the blocks cannot be separated... and left before installing the irrigation, causing all plants to need hand watering until a new contractor could be found.

The picture of the grey driveway is his handiwork... Lucky though... he stayed off the edges of that driveway, damaging the appearance, but not breaking the concrete...
Another parting gift before disappearing yet again!

At one time, he mentioned changing the name of his business, so I suggest cross referencing his business address to be sure that he does not continue to do harm to others, working under false pretenses.
He may even change his line of work, especially once criminal charges are pending for contracting without a license (3rd offense is a Felony).

His business address is:

5410 CAMERON ST
SUITE 106
Las Vegas, Nevada
89118-2249

His last name is REBEL, and he goes by several first names, two that I am aware of, are PARKER, and HARRISON. There may be others...

Regretfully, I did not thoroughly investigate the business and am suffering the consequences.
DON'T make my mistake.
