My children absolutely love Gold Standard Preschool. The entire staff is amazing and have a passion for teaching young children. Very professional!! I love the low ratio especially the education and fun creativeness that is noticed each day. The director, Jennie, is compassionate and caring and is willing to work with her families in all aspects of the business. The entire preschool team is awesome especially Mr. Alfredo! Nutritious meals included! Thank you for servicing our community and being the best at it!

This place is great, but it wasn't always. I'm giving it five stars for what it is, as I write this review, not what it was when I first started bringing my child here.

In the beginning there was a different director and the center was open 24 hours, but there was really no structure and it seemed a little chaotic, to say the least. For the price, it couldn't be beat.

One day, my daughter started crying when we were dropping her off for preschool and this persisted for a couple days, then my girlfriend brought it to the director's attention. My girlfriend had noticed changes in the teachers and my daughter was not adjusting well.

The director, who was a new one, set up an appointment so they could have a sit down conversation. We were not pleased, before this appointment and wanted to know what was going on and why our daughter was feeling the way she was about the school.

So, come to find out, they had been letting some teachers go and bringing in new ones and changing the structure of the classes to be more school like, rather than daycare like. The reason they were letting some teachers go was because they were bringing in more qualified people to fill the positions, after they had hired a new director, who is much much better than the original director.

They have always worked with us, as far as payment goes, as long as you let them know in advance, which is like any bill.

After setting up the new structure, my daughter, who was two at the time, was bumped up into the 3 year old class because she was doing so well, and they have talked about moving her up another class, since she has turned 3.

I have been taking my daughter here since two weeks after they opened, so I've been there since the beginning and have seen the good and bad and the great changes and improvements that have been made.

I wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else.

Oh and their hours are Monday-Saturday 6am-midnight. Not 24 hours anymore, but not bad at all.

When I first started this daycare, I thought it was good. Boy was I wrong. They say they are 24/7 but they are not. And every time I turn around they are changing their hours. They are not open on holidays and do not warn you about it till the day before. Many of their staff have attitude problems. I was told they would no longer be open after 6 pm and so I set up other people to watch my kids on the days I close. Only to be told a week later, they had changed their mind and would be open till 10. There is no communication between the owners and the staff. And if you have an issue or need to talk to a manager on the weekend, forget it. My kids got sick and were out for a week. Per my contract with them, my kids get one week a year that they can be sick and I don't have to pay, btw if your kids don't go for whatever reason, you still have to pay for the days they don't go. But I went in and talked to the counter lady and was told on Monday that my balance was zero. Saturday I come to drop off my kids and I got told I couldn't bring my kids because I owed a balance. I explained that I had already spoken to the lady about it. She just shrugged and pretty much told me too bad. I explained I had no other daycare and I need to get to work. Again I was told too bad. No warning, no call in the 4 days between, nothing. I called my girlfriend to get off early and get the kids, costing us a lot of money. I spent all day trying to reach the owners and no one at the daycare could even help me. Now it looks as if I will have to take a day off work in order to deal with their mess up. And when i called very upset explaining how much money they were cost us and that they were putting my job in jeopardy, I was again told too bad their was nothing they could do till Monday. Not to mention my kids clothes have been ruined many times because they come home covered in food and dirt. Everytime I go in kids are covered in snot or climbing on chairs or running through the halls unattended. As soon as I find other daycare, I am yanking them out of this one. Do not take your kids there.
