The First Christian Church ( Disciples of Christ ) Las Vegas, Nevada, welcomes you to our web site. We are a vibrant, growing congregation of 500+ members. Under the direction of our Co-Senior Ministers, Drs. David and Ginger Jarman, the Church offers strong programs in outreach, counseling, music, education, youth ministry, pre-school and day care ( through our Montessori Childrens World ), and an uplifting worship experience that blends both traditional and contemporary, and educational and spiritual growth opportunities for all ages. We offer meeting space for a number of support groups. While we do not seek to be a mega-church, we do seek to embrace the many newcomers arriving daily to the Las Vegas valley, and the diversity and gifts that each brings to our community of faith. Like our city, our church facilities are in use almost 24/7. Situated just south of Highway 95 at 101 S. Rancho Drive, near the heart of the city, our members drive in from all over the Las Vegas valley because they have found here a home. Our church has been a community leader for more than 60 years and seeks to be relevant today. Because God's welcoming spirit is alive in this congregation, we invite you to visit not only our web site, but also our church site! We all bring different backgrounds and experiences to church. Nevertheless, we hold in common the sacred journeys that are our lives.
