B A D haircut! The worst!



I will have to buy a wig to cover this up. Unbelievable.



A stylist who responds to a negative review in such an unprofessional way should be fired.

Just so you know the Truth

In response to the bashing below... I'm the hairstylist who had to take over this client's service from a co-worker because this woman had her so confused and conflicted as to what she really wanted that she asked for my help... And I never told this lady that her hair was cut all to hell, only that adjustments needed to be made in order to give her what she wanted. I can also assure you that Evolve Salon did everything possible to make this client happy... In the end, she indeed assured me that she liked her hair before paying and tipping after her visit. One hour later her aunt called the salon from CA., ranting very belligerently that she was going to sue the sh** out of us and was rude beyond belief to the owner who was trying to help resolve the issue. This all boils down to MONEY MONEY MONEY, as this woman obviously feels that we should have given her FREE services not once but twice! Ask yourself this; If she were so unhappy with our salon and the professionals who work there why would she have returned? Trust me, this lady is a complete nut-case who quite obviously feels that it's now her mission to bash and trash our fine salon and the reputations of our highly trained stylists all over the web. I would have told her aunt to screw off too, if in fact that was ever said, which I highly doubt! Her entire review of Evolve Salon is completely without merit and I wanted the public to know, as I can again assure you that we here at Evolve Salon are highly trained salon professionals committed to excellence and client satisfaction. We are not however mental health professionals or a psychiatric office! I can only hope that this woman keeps her word and that we NEVER see her in our salon again! And if you are a salon owner or stylist, all I can say is that I hope you're not this woman's next stop! And to top it all off, this lady is a second grade teacher? Thank God I don't have a kid in her class!

Unprofessional and untalented

Perhaps it's just my luck that I got the wrong hairstylists at the wrong times. I don't know. But, I will say that today was the worst hair experience of my life. I followed my old hairstylist and friend to this salon but was left trying to find a new person after she moved out of state. First, I went to a man who refused to do what I wanted to because he had a "vision" that he thought was "better" (it sucked). He didn't listen to a word I said. So, I was stuck with a haircut and color I didn't ask for at almost $200. Then I tried a new girl this time. She fixed the color but couldn't even get the sides even on the cut and ended up in tears handing me off to another person. By the time he got to me, I didn't get the cut I wanted (again) because she'd cut it too short and "chopped it all to hell" (according to him). Half of the hairstylists were staring at me, wondering how the hell he was going to fix my hair. After all this, they still charged me almost $200. The owner refused to discount, or compensate in any way for this poor service. My aunt (who is much better at handling business matters like this) gave them a call and they totally denied/lied about what happened. Then he told her to screw off, that my regular stylist (that had moved away before all this madness) was one of the worst he's had on staff (I beg to differ), and that he had pictures of me to prove it. I have no idea what drove him to get so defensive, nasty, and downright creepy. I'm still in shock. You would think that in times like these, one would want to compensate a regular customer to keep them coming, rather than totally (and disturbingly) drive their business away. I'd say Evolve is probably a hit or miss. But, based on the way they very unprofessionally handled things today they will never see me or my friends set foot in that salon again. I still shudder when I think about it.

Evolve Stylists Listen !

I found that stylists are so busy thinking whso next that they fail to hear the one in the chair now. This is not the case at Evolve Salon . Someone taught them all that I was around to ask questions and find out exactly what I wanted.

Katheryn was just great , right on the mark , I could not have been happier.
