EDUCATION Dr. Vikas Gupta, MD, graduated from Government Medical College in Patiala, India with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his residencies in internal medicine at Government Medical College, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and research (Chandigarh, India) at the State University of New York’s Buffalo Medical and Dental Education Consortium. He completed fellowships in medical oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Services (New Delhi) and in hematology/oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. EXPERIENCE Dr. Gupta is a medical oncologist and hematologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada where he treats patients with cancer and serious blood disorders. Prior to joining the practice in 2017, he worked as an oncologist and hematologist at HealthCare Partners Oncology/Hematology and Nevada Cancer Center. He has co-authored a number of publications and has extensive research experience. BOARD CERTIFIED Hematology Medical Oncology PERSONAL Dr. Gupta is married with one son. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and traveling. PATIENT PHILOSOPHY Cancer does not just affect the patient, but the entire family. My goal is not just to provide quality cancer care and treatment to the patient, but also involve the whole family in the treatment decisions of their loved one as well as offer support.
