Provided by YP.comWe were at an event and saw a booth offering a free cruise and golf in exchange for attending a 90-minute presentation. We felt like this was a fair trade, so we decided to attend. This began our terrible experiences with Diamond. We were in that presentation for over 6 hours! We left cold, hungry, and believing that this was a real estate investment, and the rental income would more than cover our ownership costs. A month later, we started getting calls asking us to attend a “new owner orientation”. Since we could not figure out the reservation system, we felt that this was a great way the get our questions answered. This was just another sales presentation! We were told that an upgrade would allow us to write this off as a second home; what a great benefit! We only agreed to the update because we were told that they would help us refinance the purchase; yet the employees never called us at the scheduled time or ever returned our calls since then. Be very careful, they lie! This has cost us thousands of dollars!

Provided by YP.comStay away. At first it is attractive but over time they will increase your costs and lower service. Rent DO NOT BUY!

Provided by YP.comI’m a former employee . The nepotism/favoritism, discrimination & cheating that is going on in the marketing dept is disgusting!! They do not treat all the same. It’s ok if certain people cheat to make $ they turn away cause it’s more $ in their pocket. They set people up for failure if they decided they don’t like them . They spread the words be positive. But all it is is gossip drama & negativity! Don’t work for this company. Loyalty means nothing to them nor does integrity .

Provided by YP.comIMHO, the developers/sales agents are scammers and they rip off the owners & potential owners.
They tell you you can have the world and you get a grain of sand. The sales reps. will tell you anything to make a sale. They start asking an exorbitant price and as you refuse, the come way down.
The maintenance fees increase sky high each year.
I have 2 other resorts; DRI is the most greedy/expensive resort and provides the least activities (lei making & bingo).
There is only one restaurant on site.
They allow children & infants in the hot tub.
My advice, book through the Internet; don't buy!

Provided by YP.comDiamond Resort International presentation is horrible and a nightmare. They say and promise you a lot of things but when you have time on your side to verify the things they promise are lies. Trying to locate and talk to someone from corporate is like trying to talk to the CIA or the President of the United States Which will never happen. Therefor their customer service is the poorest in the world and cloak and dagger. By law we have 72 hours to cancel an agreement and they purposely try to sabotage and deny you right under the law. We had our presentation on August 21, 2015 Today on August 24 2015 since the morning we have been to cancel and no one wants to help, they pass you from one department to another, refuse to give names, phone number or good address and basically lie. I hope Vice President John Claimer if he is truly the Vice President as they say will do something with the staff members and managers to be sincere honest and assist in the proper customer service.

Provided by YP.comWatch out!!!! The resorts are nice enough but the sales presentations are a rip off. They guarantee you 90min. but 3 hours later you are still going with them telling you that you said things that you didn't. They get you there on the pretense of giving you an update on RCI's new policy's but I called RCI as soon as returning home only to find out that their information was incorrect.
Since then I receive phone calls every few months, wanting me to attend an RCI update presentation. They try to lead you to believe that they are RCI but through the couple years this has been going on and with the help of the attorney generals office I have discovered who it really is. I have told them to stop calling with every phone call but so far it hasn't happened. As for their presentation, no thanks. I'm not interested in pushy salesmen giving me incorrect info. about RCI just to try to sell me a timeshare.
The only reason I gave them 1 star is because 0 wasn't an option.
