The food is cheap but I don't think it's that fresh. The kitchen is unbelievably messy.

I have been to this restaurant before and I was fairly pleased with their service and food. Today, I invited my friend to have lunch with me in the Diamond China Restaurant on Sahara Between Orville & Valley View. They sat us in a nice Table , brought us 2 ice Waters, some hot Tea and gave us 2 food menus to look at and pick the food we want to order. Personally I knew what I wanted, Oesters ginger with green onions. My guest wasn't sure, she was still flipping through the pages of the menu. The waitress (middle aged lady with a very heavy oriental accent) recommmeded the Lobster for $12.50, It's huge, It's great, It's this, It's that, You have got to try it, she even went to the back kitchen and brought us a live one to look at. My friend was sold out to the lobster order and I stuck with what I wanted. To make the story short, My guest didn't like the lobster and the way it was cooked. We decided to go to karl's Jr. accross the street

and grab a Burger instead. I presented the check to the Waitress, Now she is charging us $12.50/lb. for the lobster, I didn't know that, my friend didn' know that. Otherwise, my friend would have ordered something else.



My complaint is: If she wants to sell us the Lobster, At least be crystal clear that we understood what we are getting.

Not rip us off at the cash register when we are ready to leave. We paid the bill and left dissipointed.
