Do not do business with this company!



I booked a large number of rooms (10+) for a company attended convention and it turned into the worst expereince that I have ever had. 50% deposit was paid in advance and confirmations numbers for the rooms were continually promised but not delivered. Final 50% was paid (they had the credit card number) but was billed $571 more than contracted. I 'm on a plane headed to Las Vegas with no rooms and hollow promises. We booked elsewhere on arrival, drove to their place of business, and received lipservice on promised credits that continued for weeks. The credit card company was helpful in obtaining the credits but the company is still fighting for the $571 (they have no case for the charge but I've got at least 40 hours in dealing with this).



The owner's name is listed as Amy Tran. I have a felling that this is not here only business and can only assume the worst for anyone dealing with her in any capacity.



These people should be avoided at all cost!

We entered into a contract for hotel accommodations with Destination Reservations Travel. They charged my credit card for the entire amount in advance of travel, but when my people arrived at the hotel there were no reservations.



Destination Reservations Travel has refused to reimburse my company. They never return calls, put me on hold and then hang up before I even say a word. I ended up having to pay top dollar for hotel accommodations because I was forced to book the day of arrival and there was a limited supply of rooms because of the convention. Most all the hotels were booked except for premium hotel rooms. We still have not received any kind of reimbursement from DRT and so in reality we’ve paid twice for our hotel rooms.



Check out the Better Business Bureau website. Destination Reservations Travel has a BBB rating of “F”...and for good reason. This rating is even before I’ve filled a complaint… which I intend to do.
