Although Rick, the owner, seems super busy, he made sure all work was done to perfection! His guys are great, they obviously knew what they were doing and oh boy did they work hard! The best about Desert Tropics was the honesty, never did he lie to me or give me unrealistic expectations. The problem I had could’ve been a very expensive deal, but Rick proved to me that it could be done professionally, and at a discount. Haven’t had a problem since. They’ve been back to thoroughly clean my front & back yard, as well. I’m happy as could be!

Provided by YP.comRUN AWAY!! Rick Dewey is very good at saying he'll be there "first thing in the morning" to do the repair, and then not showing up until 5pm, or the next day. Or maybe 2 days later with no excuse other than "there were circumstances beyond my control." The last time we had a leak in our irrigation system and the valve needed to be replaced, it took him 3 visits and 5 days and here it is 2 months later and it's leaking again. And again, we've been waiting 3 days for him to come by after hearing from him every morning telling us he'll be by later. He's all talk and no action. Maybe he's really busy, but he can't keep his word. If you want reliable service, look elsewhere.
What this poster failed to mention is that we did respond immediately, stopped the leak, while we had to locate parts, which can sometimes become beyond our control, if no parts exists locally. Other issues beyond our control, as in this case, are when there are multiple parties involved, ie; tenant, owner, and management company. Ultimately, all the valves were replaced, and a new manifold was fabricated and installed. While we were there we were learned of the previous repair that was once again leaking. We replaced the defective part, under warranty, of coarse. I agree our communication may need some improvement. Perhaps had I communicated better during the procedure, this poster may have understood our dilemma.
