I would think twice. 15 minutes ago cab #4441 was behind me on Trop going West at Wynn. The light had just changed to red and I guess he was in a big hurry to go home....He went into the second lane to go around me and right turned. Yep basically he turned right from the number two lane. If this is how they drive, you may want to consider an alternative.

Sorry guys, the guy on the phone when i called disconnected me. he didnt sound too concerned that his drivers turn from the wrong lanes and go thru red lights.

I too would give them 0 or negative stars if I could. called for a cab and they said it would be a half hour to 45 minutes that was over 2 hours ago. just called back and waited on hold for 10 minutes before someone answered and told me that there were still no cabs in the area and it could be another hour before someone came to get me. too bad I missed the event that I was going to. seems I'll just be staying home tonight. :-( desert cab sucks! call anyone else but don't call them if you actually want to get anywhere!

If I could give Desert Cab negative stars it would still be more than they deserve. Incompetence, errors, distain for their customers, no apologies, no performance, and finally we never got to our destination. These guys are the poster child for why Las Vegas needs UBER. If getting to your destination on time is your objective, avoid Desert Cab like the plague.

I made an online reservation for a cab (easy to do on their web site). They confirmed the reservation with an email (A+) which included all our trip information, and our correct phone number. At this point they did everything perfectly. The perfection ended here.

Ten minutes after the scheduled arrival time I called to ask where our cab was. They informed me that they called to confirm that we still wanted the cab, got no answer on the call and cancelled the reservation. I stated there was no message on our answering machine, and was told there was no machine. At that stage I asked what number they called, and they had called a different number than the one in their email to me. Who knows how they came up with the number, but regardless we had no reservation.

After admitting it was their error they offered no apology and asked if we still wanted the cab. They said they would call back with an ETA for a car. Did not hear from them for 15 minutes so we drove ourselves to a wine tasting which my wife enjoyed, me not so much since I had to drive home. Do not use Desert Cab if you need or want to get anywhere.

I want to give them 0 stars. Don't ever use these scam artists. I needed 2 cabs and was quoted $40 for 2 cabs. When they arrived, I was told $40 EACH! We paid the first cab the $40 but before we could talk to the second cab, it sped off with our guests inside who were not expecting to pay for the cab ride. These criminals held our guests hostage until we gave them a credit card number. Don't use these crooks.

the girl who attend me, was very rude!! i went for vacations to las vegas, and i need a taxi to take me to the bus stop and i gave her the address and she was really rude because i didnt know the cross street of where i was going, but i gave her verything i knew about it, and she " hold my call" and said.. i hate to receive calls from people who dont know the axactly directions, its annoying talk w peeps like her"

Early morning pick-up all the way out to Red Rocks Scenic Loop. Timely and very nice driver. Dispatch was great too-worked to get the driver out to a remote spot.

very rude dispatch! they say they have their phone converstations recorded and that i called back to change the reservation. liars!!! my passengers waited 1 hour for the taxi to even show up. then i called and thats when they said i called back to change the reservation in which i know for a fact i didn't. do not call these people for a taxi. bad service all around.

AFTER LANDING AT THE AIRPORT I GOT INTO A DESERT CAB TO GO TO MY ROOM AT THE GOLDEN NUGGET IT WAS A DODGE AVENGER IT WAS CLEAN AND THE DRIVER WAS REALLY FRIENDLY HIS NAME WAS STEVEN ON OUR JOURNEY TO THE HOTEL HE INFORMED ME OF THE BEST SHOWS TO GO SEE IN VEGAS AND WHAT MUSIC CONCERTS I COULD GO SEE ON THE DATES I WAS IN TOWN. HE HAD AN ANSWER FOR EVERY QUESTION I HAD ABOUT VEGAS. I TIPPED HIM TEN DOLLARS AND HE GAVE ME HIS NUMBER TO CALL IF I NEEDED A CAB AGAIN. I USED HIM 2 MORE TIMES DURING MY VACATION. AND WILL CALL HIM NEXT TIME I COME BACK TO VEGAS

I was in Vegas On July 6th, 20...

I was in Vegas On July 6th, 2011 and I was staying at the Venetian and a friend and I wanted to meet down on Fairmont Street for the concerts. So I stood in line to wait for a CAB. They got a cab for me and it was Cab #4224 It was a Hyndai Sonata and I remember the guy opening door saying WATCH your head. I got in car. and I went to put my seatbelt on and I felt like i almost broke my neck. Seriously Do not RIDE in these cabs if you are taller then 5 FEET. 5 ft 0 yes because this car is not for anyone who is taller than that. I am 5 feet 5 and i went to pull the stupid seatbelt around me but it was stuck in seat and when i lifted up i realized how small the backseat is and how less of head room you have. I complained and the driver was so rude. my neck was in pain. I think that this cab company is lowsy and CHEAP. The driver had a really rude attitude. WAIT ASK for a big cab becasuse these little cabs are great for tiny short people 5 feet and under but not for regular sized people and I find it really silly that they would even have these cabs in las vegas.



I repeat if you get a cab in Vegas make sure if you use this company that you use a BIgger SEDAn Hyndai Sonata the headroom is curved you have no head room this is not a CAB car. Seriously. I had awful experience. every since then i always ask for a SUV or s BIG CAR no small cars

THEIR SALES REP ARE TRAINED TO SAY 10-15 MINUTES EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOBODY(!!) AVAILABLE.

WHEN YOU'LL CALL 45 MINUTES LATER THEY'LL TELL YOU (WITH AN ATTITUDE) THAT THEY ARE A LITTLE BUSY AND THEY ARE DISPATCHING NOW SO IT SHOULD BE 10 MINUTES MORE.

WHEN YOU'LL CALL 20 MINUTES LATER THEY'LL TRANSFER YOU TO THEIR CALL QUEUE AND SOMEONE ELSE WILL FINALLY TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE NO TAXIS SINCE ALL THEIR DRIVERS ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS.



IF YOU NEED TO GET SOMEWHERE JUST BOOK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY - AT LEAST THEY'LL BE UPFRONT AND TELL YOU IF THEIR WAITING TIME IS TOO LONG.



THEY ARE PROBABLY JUST A CALL CENTER WITH NO TAXIS OF THEIR OWN.

Destination was 44 miles away from pick up. operator said, first you pay a non refundable deposit of 170 dollars and then we'll take you ! what is the world coming to ??? IDIOTS !!! Don't use them !!!!!

Horrible

I called this company at 9:45pm on a Friday. The operator informed me that a cab would pick me up in 15-30 mins. I called back at 10:16pm to make sure they were coming and the operator answered rudely that they were busy. And then when I asked for an ETA they once again said they were busy. I would not use this company for anything ever!!! They are rude liars. She knew they were busy at the time I called so why not give a more accurate time?

a very cool cab in a very hot town

hello,my name is mike vaughn and I live in nothern california.yesterday I parked outside your cab parking lot and just took the time to see your different cab modles.you have one that is not american and would be perfect for car shows.when you go to retire one of these I would love to buy one and trick it out for car shows like hot auguest nights in reno and the good guys in california.if this could happen I will give you all the trophys I win.beleave me this cab would be in hot rod and other car mags.all over the usa.

We won't be calling...

You never came to pick up our client on March 10, thus missing a fare to the Bellagio and an easy pick-up from the Strip for another trip.



Despite numerous calls from our office you never followed through or assigned us a cab.



We are a training center with out-of-town clients who often need transportation.



Please be assured that we will not call Desert Cab again. Ever.
