I had no problems with being helped with my art supplies. I knew what I wanted, i just did not know were the supplies were, (plus I did not have my glasses) and was helped by a courteous clerk.



Just to reply to the other reviews a little. Research what kind of art you want to do. Art has a lot of different paints and mediums to use. And if you if open something at a grocery store, you can't return it. Same with paint, if it is not defective then you open it you bought it. Research is good for anything, know a little of what you want. That way people can't take advantage of you.



The art store had what I wanted, They don't have every brand, but not every store does. I had a good experience.

Bottom line- this is not the place for a new artist to shop- They are just trying to shove their old product out the door and they have a terrible return policy (no policy).



I tried some paint based on their salesman's recommendations. When I used it I was unhappy with it. I had bought about $100 worth of paint. The paint looked as though it had been on the shelf for 20 years. When I went to return the paint they refunded my money for the bottles I had not opened. Good enough. I also bought some cheap brushes based on their recommendation. I quickly found that these brushes were unsuitable for painting even a barn. Every stroke they would lose at least one bristle onto the painting. I also bought a heat-gun that was only for use with the type of paint that I had bought. Although I had not even opened the box for the heat-gun, they would not return my money on it. Of course they would not return my money on the brushes.



Bottom line- this is not the place for a new artist to shop- They are just trying to shove their old product out the door and they have a terrible return policy (no policy).
