I required TWO dental implants and the doctors and staff of Nevada Oral & Facial Surgery walked me through every step of what we all needed to do to complete this extraordinary challenge, They discussed every medical feature from the need for me to build up my bone structure to the post care procedures. They also previewed the financial costs involved and coordinated everything with my insurance provider every step of the way. I am now readey to move to the next "crown "stage with the comfort of knowing that can enjoy my new dental work for hopefully the rest of my life. I highly recommend Nevada Oral & Facial Surgery. I had afractured jaw Dr Johnson always took the time to explain the best procedure to take. After repairing the Jaw he had to go back in to remove one of the plates and move a nerve soa pin could be placed in. After repairing everything I had no pain that night , I had such amazing experience with him andhis staff. What a wonderful experience with such a highlyran office.

I recommend Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery in the strongest terms possible. While no dental procedure is pleasant, my experience at Nevada Oral and Facial was simply amazing. I needed to have my two lower wisdom teeth removed surgically and I am currently a 57 year old male. From my initial phone call to schedule, through my consultation and procedure, the staff and Doctors made me feel that my care was the primary concern.Dr. Holtzen performed a thorough exam prior to explaining what needed to be done, why it needed to be done and the treatment options and risks involved. The teeth were partially erupted and had developed some decay. He explained that my facial nerves were extremely close to the teeth and that I was at increased risk for permanent nerve damage. He explained what would result in terms of numbness, loss of some facial muscle control and perhaps loss of taste, if the nerves were damaged.On the day of my procedure, I felt like a VIP. During this entire visit, I felt like their foremost concern was my health, wellbeing and comfort. The surgical assistant did not leave my side from the time I was seated in the surgical room until I was escorted to the passenger seat of my car. She explained, in detail, everything she was doing and what the doctor would do once he arrived. After I woke up, she constantly and continually asked about and monitored my recovery. Dr. Holtzen came back 3 times to check on me. The assistant (I wish I could remember her name because she was so wonderful) gave me detailed instructions, both verbally and in writing, for my recovery at home. When it was time to go, she asked me to look at her so she could see my eyes and watch for any problems with balance or dizziness. My procedure was over at 1100am and I wasn’t asked to stand until 1145. At 6pm that evening she called me at home to check on my recovery. The nerves were obviously NOT damaged during the procedure because I regained all feeling and sense of taste after the medications wore off.If you need dental care, and want to be treated like a king or queen at a fair price, do yourself a favor and call the wonderful folks at Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery! I had many concerns about surgery options to fix long term jaw problems. Dr. Johnson and staff persed a professional and methodical approach for me to reach a good decisions. The surgery went fine, less pain than expected and faster recovery. I am more than happy.

I was referred to Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery by my dentist for a tooth extraction. The staff was courteous, professional, and very informative. I was told all of my options and given time to consider and review all of them before making my decision. Dr. Paul, Karen, and Sarah were very helpful and considerate. Dr. Johnson and the entire staff at NV Oral and Facial are outstanding in every way! The girls in the office are kind and professional everytime I call or come in. Dr. Johnson is professional and caring. He makes sure that the implants are 100%. Dr. Johnson has done two implants for me and both experiences were fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone and will defintiely return if I ever need another implant!

Like most people, I have had a negative experience with dentists in this field. I was nervous, but the staff at Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery made me feel comfortable and welcome. Their professionalism, patience, and knowledge made me feel at ease and helped me to understand the procedure that was taking place. Dr. Steven Paul is, in my opinion, one of the best orthodontists in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his assistant comforted me when I was apprehensive and made the surgery go smooth. If you need a dentist, I would highly recommend going to Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery.

Being very aprehensive I made my way to Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery, to discuss a dental Implant. After talking to Dr Steven Paul who put me very much at ease, i decided to go ahead and have the work done. This establishment has a very high quality of professional and highly qualified staff. I would highly recomeend, and in fact already have referred my friends and family. Sharon the Implant Coordinator is definitely the person you want to deal with. She is knowldgable and friendly.

I have had on several occasions the opportunity to use the services provided by the professionals at Nevada Oral & Facial surgery, and I have been impressed over and over again. From a sinus lift and two implants for me to wisdom teeth extractions for my daughter and four permanent teeth extraction for my son who is in braces. My kids said that they answered all there questions and made them feel at ease before the procedure. The experience as a patient and a concern Mom has always been the same absolutely amazing! I had the All-On-Four procedure done and coudn't be happier. Recovery has been amazingly easy and virtually discomfort free. Eating a soft diet (first few months) and using the Water Pik is the only life style change incurred.. Dr. Johnson is the best in his field and the professional staff at Nevada Oral and Facial Surgery are genuinely so caring and attentive.

i had a wonderful experience getting my wisdom teeth pulled. it was just like a little nap. I was treated in a respecful manner, and had little pain!

From the time I signed in until I checked out, the entire staff at Nevada Oral & Facial made me feel at ease when they knew how nervous I was to have my impacted wisdom tooth removed. Dr. Johnson, Megan and the rest of the staff were very informative about my payment, procedure and after care and it was, if you can say this about oral surgery, a very pleasant experience. I had no pain afterwards so I didn't have to take any of the pain medication they prescribed for me. I would, and already have, definatley recommend Dr. Johnson and the entire staff at Nevada Oral & Facial to all of my local friends. They have treated me and my entire family w/ nothing but respect and, as far as I'm concerned, I will never use another oral surgeon as long as I live in the Las Vegas area. My daughter needed her wisdom teeth extracted. We were referred to your office by our dentist,. She had never had surgery before and was very scared. The staff, nurses and Doctor Holtzen treated her with great care, respect and some humor to get her through. We'll be back!

i needed to get 6 teeth removed and implants put in about six months ago. The first thing i noticed was how friendly the front desk people were and how profesional everyone was. When i met with Dr Johnson he was so nice and very thorough. He had a great sense of humer also ( you dont usually find drs with both a sense of humer and a great knowlwdge of his skill) Ive been back now a few times for check ups and everytime they answered all my questions. I want to let everyone know about your Wonderful office staff & doctors. I was referred by my dentist to your office for a exam so your doctor could make sure my tooth needed to be pulled. I was immediately taken in to a very nice room and that’s where the magic started. After the assistant took xrays the doctor came in an verified the tooth needed to come out. I asked if he could do it today because I was in so much pain & since I had brought my husband (who was snoring on the very comfy couch in the waiting room) he said “Yes”. I was taken into another room and again I felt so at ease by all the kind, caring people that were there. The Iv was put in my arm and I just remember telling the asst “ to make sure I wake up” and next thing I knew I was drooling and groggy. I had NO pain at all. From the time I walked in until the time I left all of my fear was gone. Hopefully I will never need you again but if I do I’ll be there with bells on. Thank you so much.

I was in on January 13th to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. I had a short talk with the front office staff and was taken to the back while my wife was escorted to the family waiting room, separate from the front office waiting room. Dr. Johnson came in and asked me if I had any questions. He then inserted the IV at 4:10, and I was asleep seconds later. At 4:25 I was awakened and the nurse was unhooking me. The most painful part of this entire procedure was when they rip the heart monitor pads off my chest. My post surgical survival kit came with everything from directions for the 3 days after surgery, extra gauze and teabags for extensive bleeding, and noodles for my first post surgery meal. 1 day later, there is still no significant soreness, but I know day 3 will be the worst, but they have prepared me!The staff here has been friendly puts you at ease as soon as you come in. Dr. Paul and Johnson were both the definition of professional. I can't say enough good things!

At my first visit to this office, I filed out the new patient form online to speed things up a bit. When I got there, they gave me the forms to fill out again~ 20 minutes later, they found the form (so much for a time saver). I waited about 50 minutes when they called me and put me in another room where I would wait for the Dr. there I waited about 10 minutes. When the Dr. finally came, he was very professional and laid a plan out what we need to do with my wisdom teeth. I made an appointment a week later to get all wisdom teeth removed. When I came in for that appointment, I didn't have to wait long and the surgery was over very quickly. The pain meds they gave me made me sick, so I called one of the on duty dentist over the weekend and he got back to me within an hour and called my pharmacy with another perscription. When I came in the third time, about a week after the surgery, I didn't wait long, but felt like I was rushed and the doctor didn't really listen to my worries. The offi
