A $488 Lesson to NEVER bring my car here again. STAY AWAY from this place if you care about your car! This is what my classic show car looks like after a heater core replacement. When confronted, they said they didn’t have a particular resin that’s supposed to go around the heater core hoses. Really? DUCT TAPE!? They said to bring it back and that they would “see what they could to make it look better”. Ridiculous, and if this is how my car looks now then how would it look if I was crazy enough to bring my car back? Not to mention that there are bolts missing too, and I was charged for Antifreeze even though it was not changed. Decatur Auto Electric, you have not only lost me as a customer, but now I will tell everyone I know to avoid your reckless shop!!!

my car had a problem in the engine computer system, for weeks went to different auto shops, I have spend money and time and no one could found what was wrong with my car until I found Decatur auto electric they knew immediately what was wrong and gave my a fast and honest service

My A/C was not blowing cool. Took it in thinking it just needed a charge but a little suspicsous it might be something more. Sure enough they found a disconnected piece and figured out a way to reconnect it. Got my cool air back at a reasonable price. I recommend them. Go good vibes from this place.

This used to be one of my favorite places for car repair. That is, until I got charged $38 to have a light bulb replaced in my tail light. I voiced my displeasure by mail and was pleased to receive a check from Decatur Auto Electric for 30 bucks. Now I'm happy again.

Sweet freedom, First try at bat and a home run was hit! I needed my fuel pump replaced on my 2001 Ford Explorer and the fine men at Decatur Auto Electric helped. I was quoted $650 dollars from another shop and i just couldn't afford it i was depressed and sad especially since i am still making payments on the vehicle. I called this shop desperate to find a solution and Luis answered the phone. He helped me and I have never looked back. I am so grateful to the men of this shop....Decatur Auto Electric. Thank you .

I have had extremely bad luck in this town finding honest auto repair shops. My friend recommended Decatur Auto Electric to me when I was complaining about my air conditioning being broke in my SUV and probably needing new brakes and replacing the back brake light panel. I was putting it off because the last place I went to said they had to order everything from the dealership. They charged me 4 times as much as Decatur Auto Electric and I had to go back 6 times for the air alone because it was done incorrectly. On top of that, they never fixed the items that were wrong besides the air conditioner! Decatur Auto Electric repaired everything for a fraction of the cost and fixed it right the first time. I knew the problem was my A/C belt, as it has broken many times before. The difference was Decatur Auto Electric told me it was the belt instead of trying to tell me my whole unit has gone out and needed to be replaced. Also, Decatur Auto Electric told me it was the brake light socket that was broken, not the whole panel and all the wiring, like the other place said! Luis Zevallos was the man I spoke to. He was honest, took his time in explaining things, and had my car done in a timely manner:0)

I was pleasantly surprised when visiting Decatur Auto Electric this week in regards to a lighting problem with my 1997 Lincoln Town Car. Within 1 hour the problem was correctly diagnosed, repairs completed timely as promised, and billing was exactly as quoted.



In today's world, it is quite unlikely to find this kind of service and honesty. I certainly recommend that you consider Decatur Auto Electric for your repair needs

I took my SUV to Decatur auto electric because I read the previous good reviews though I was skeptical I figured it would be worth getting a quote. They gave me very reasonable quote and found the problem and a solution within hours, and they gave a very reasonable quote compared several other places. Decatur auto were fast and honest and extremely pleasant . I recommend this company to anyone that is having any auto electrical problems...

I took a 4runner in for suspension and electrical work. He told me that he would have quote for me with in an hour and how long it would take. They fixed everything for the price I was quoted and the electric problem was a fuse. The other shop told me it was a major deal and it was $390 for just the part. He didn't mark up any of the parts that he needed. They are very honest and I would recommend them to anyone.

I just want to let everyone know that its about time that I found a place to take all my vehicles that is reliable, honest and thourough. Greg M
