Hello! How are you doing people? I sure hope that you do not care about your well being if you are going to this asylum, oh wait. I mean fun house, (ahem) excuse me, medical clinic. This so called "medical clinic" is the biggest joke of a place for business and medical professionalism ever! If you are looking for serious help I highly discourage you from choosing The Center for Behavioral Health for your place of healing and stabilization from your opiate dependency. I as a writer and business owner/entrepreneur have spoken with many patients and even employees for this institute. Here is what they have told me. The place is so run down and filthy that even the homeless patients feel filthier after their visits. The floor and bathrooms look to that of a gas station. The employees are eating in the supposedly sanitized dosing station where they handle the medicine that they serve to you. And the offices for the psychiatrist or counselors what ever you want to call them (since they serve no purpose) are really bland and dimly lit as well. Apparently the counselors do nothing other than to tell you that you should take the methadone and how much. All they need is a doctor and a couple of nurses to do this job because you can go to a regular doctor and get a prescription for methadone for cheap and your doctor could tell you how much to take. So what is the difference? I'll tell you... MONEY! Also the few employees that I talked to who shall remain nameless obviously so they do not get in trouble or fired at that, have said the clinic is a load of you know what. The counselors think that they could have nicer offices even and a cleaner work environment. This is all that I'll report of what the employees said if you know what I mean. Since methadone is very cheap the doses they hand out only cost them cents. That is why the place is rundown, that is why they pay the employees so little, and that is why the place is so unprofessional. That is how you run and make money with a fly by night operation. Also the many patients have complained and criticized that they are mistreated by the staff, the staff looks down on all patients even after taking your money. Sure, they will smile at you but you better not want anything else nor ask any simple question that they couldn't answer or they'll scowl at you and punish you for humiliating them with such a simple question that they couldn't answer even though they are "professionals" with a "degree" out of a cracker jack box. Plus the male secretary who answers the phone is the most unfit employee of them all. He barely has the answers to any questions in regards to the services they provide nor could he tell you anything about their web-site. How did he get hired? What does he do there? Who knows!? The dictator, (ahem excuse me again) the director of the place is very rude as well, I am told that she will bluntly and cruelly rid the clinic of patients after they have paid if they displease her as if she is an actual dictator. How unpleasant of you ma'am if I may say so myself. The victim in all of this are the patients and counselors. The counselors are as old as my teenage daughters and are nearly innocent in the whole mess. They could be nicer and friendlier to the paying patients is all. And the patients definitely deserve to be treated better than they are, that is for sure! Bless your soul for seeking help, that is very honorable and noble of you who ever you are!
