The Labor and Delivery unit is amazing! The team that helped bring our baby girl in this world was amazing! They were patient, caring, knowledgeable, and my family and I, felt we were in great hands!

The stay was orderly and the care given outstanding. Technology has improved the response time and data sharing. Every single staff member was professional and friendly

out the gate...and losing

I have not found any one who has experienced any positive relations with this "state of the art" brand new "million dollars" plus hospital. My uncle was admitted after a fall that supposedly fractured his hip. After 3 days he was scheduled surjury.... hip replacement {today} is performed on such a regular basis, you would not expect any negative outcome..
Somewhere during this procedure, my uncle was deprived of oxygen up to ?? 4minutes.... How is that possible????
You have a room full of experienced - professional - licensed personnel. What was going on in the surjury room that NO indications of any problems was preceived???

My uncle now lies on life support without any chance of recovery. Never to truly live again.

How can a room full of professionals not see that oxygen - the very air we breath - was cut off???

If you have a choice.... go run anywhere else.

The worst two days ever!

I went in to the er by paramedics Friday morning for bleeding and cramping at 7 weeks pregnant they put me into a room I seem the nurse one time and she never came back no blanket or anything ok whatever I was more concerned about my baby finally they did an ultra sound hours later when the doctor came back he just said ok the sac looks like it still there I don't know what's going to happen at this point mind you he seem completes Dumb like he couldn't answer all me questions. Ok next day about 4 pm my husband and his friend rush me to the er I'm having server labor like contractions !! As soon as we get in my husbands friend wheels me in the lady is so rude telling me I need to come down lady I'm in pain! I looked at my husband and said how f*** rude they were and she said she needs to clam down here my husband tried to explain she is doing the best she can I'm sorry she is in a lot of pain. Next they throw me into a room my husband help me change into a grown and I say in that room for an hour in the worst pain! finally the nurse came in and said she can't give me anything till I see the doctor. Finally the doctor came in and wow how rude she was! She said that I need to follow up with my doctor and that having blood cots while pregnant was nothing and when I ask for pain relief she snapped at me if I wanted to keep my baby yes of course and then she got upset because I could not remember the the exact grams or whatever of Tylenol I took earlier ! they never brought me the pad I asked for I mean seriously I could go on and on about this place all I know is I lost my baby and to have been treated this bad in addition to my loss I really think these people should be ashamed of themselves what happen to working in the medical field where you actually care and want to help people!

I've had 2 ER experiences this year for my tween son, and we are OK with the service we got. The first time he swallowed some wire from his orthodontics, so he wasn't put at the top of the list for ER, but after 2-3 hours we were out with instructions and radiographs. That was about 4-5 pm in February. The last time was this week at 11 in the morning Tuesday. He had agonizing pain and was taken in quickly, seen by an RN within about 20 minutes, had blood and urine sample, given some narcotics for the pain, then taken to radiology about 20 minutes later. They found what they expected, a kidney stone in the ureter. Then we saw the doctor for a couple minutes and were let go with Rxs. The clerk came to our room to get info for insurance.

We had different insurance in February than we do now; the bill we paid was around $500 for that visit with deductibles and co pays. We now have a high deductible plan so not sure what the bill will be - maybe in the $2000 range. I of course will review the invoice for accuracy.

I took my foster child there for a broken arm in 08 and they were very prompt with her, as best as they could be, sedated her, reset and splinted the bones, then we went to UMC for follow up (CC insurance). They said the doctor set her bone very well and all they were going to do was put a cast on, no other pulling or surgery necessary.

Yes, hospitals charge $10 for one pain pill, and the person to dispense it, deliver it, and the cup you drank the water out of. Most of it they intend to write off for business tax issues. I was at Mountain View several years ago and waited 6 hours in the ER waiting room for them to sonogram my leg for a DVT. I was not happy, in lots of pain after an accident, and virtually ignored until I hobbled up and complained at the desk. Then it was 5 minutes. In 2012 my mother in law, while visiting, tried to be seen for HBP and HHR at UMC ER, and after 30 minutes we drove her to Centennial, she was in after 5 minutes, given medicine, admitted overnight and better the next day. I'd recommend Centennial unless you are down south, then I'm sure you'll find care that way, but this is the best ER in the north part of town. Don't know about "regular" service there. Depends on doctor, I suppose.

YES

My husband had his heart attack in December 2013. I have nothing but thankful and EXTREMELY HIGH review for Centennial Hospital. From the ambulance, to the emergency room, to immediate surgery, to recovery, back to surgery (for second stint), to recovery, to release, then back to emergency room. ALL our experience was handled with the utmost concern, care, and accommodations. The personnel we interacted with really care about the individuals. Thank you. Thank You, Thank You.

I was in the intensive care for 8 days and received awful care and they charged everything that they could and allot of Bogus Bills that when my insurance company ask what they did--- they dropped the charges. They are very crooked and the nurses and doctors were useless. I called a cab to get out of there. Dr. Jang Mun ask if I could breath for three minutes every day and charged over $300 per day and sent it from a Post office Box and is a full time employee of the hospital. This appears to be fraud.

The worst!

I just got discharged from their ER.The worst experience!(I'm 28 weeks pregnant)I went in for continuous dizzy spills (passing out at least twice a week) &chest pain that has lasted for the past 2 weeks which after I pass out, it is followed by an extreme headache and my feet go numb. Obviously, this is not normal. They sent me up to labor and delivery to have contractions monitored but I was not there for contractions! They had me wait in the labor and delivery WAITING ROOM (I hadn't even been triaged) for 30min until I finally went to the counter &told the lady that it was ridiculous that I was waiting in a waiting room with these symptoms and she said I don't know why they sent you up here if your dizzy.i go back to the ER &the ER doctor told me."carrying a child when you pushing 30 isnt as easy as carrying a child when you're 20.Passing out is normal."(I turned 29 last wk.)they drew my blood, took an EKG and sent me home.I was there5 hours. Then they forgot to get a urine sample!

Was sent to Centennial Hlils ER after sitting for 4 hours at SW Medical Urgent Care with a dislocated shoulder only to find that after they x-rayed, that they couldn't even treat a dislocation. The horrible experience at SW Medical was quickly alleviated by the wonderful staff at Centennial Hills ER. In and out in about 2 hours, with shoulder reset, even with sedation. Very fast attention and treatment, even during a shift change. I can't speak for inpatient treatment, but I will never waste my time again at an Urgent Care facility for anything more than a cold and will head straight to Centennial Hills ER.

Go somewhere else unless you have a death wish. My mother-in-law has been there several times. The last time, a nurse left a tourniquette on her arm after giving her an injection. It wasn't found until 10 hours later when her arm blew up and turned black. Soon after the skin on her arm and hand blew open down to the muscle. It took over 8 months to heal, but was never right afterwards. They also miss medication administrations, prescribe meds that are contraindicated for the elderly. Only have one CNA for 20 patients, so patients don't even get cleaned up once per shift. Some nurses have very bad attitudes, no doubt due to being spread so thinly.

I ONLY WISH ALL PEOPLE WOULD WRITE REVIEWS WHEN SERVICE IS GOOD....I GUESS ILL BE THE FIRST. I RECENTLY WENT TO THE ER AT CENTENNIAL HILLS AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED! I WASNT IN THE WAITING ROOM LONG AT ALL AND THE DOC OF WHOM I SEEN WAS AMAZING. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AS WELL. IT MADE MY STAY MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE...AS I HAD TO STAY OVERNIGHT. IM VERY THANKFUL TO HAVE A HOSPITAL CLOSE TO HOME...AND EVEN MORE THANKFUL ABOUT THE DOCTORS WHO HELPED ME ALONG. USUALLY WAIT TIMES IN THE ER ARE RIDICULOUSLY LONG, (BECUASE WELL IT IS A ER NOT YOUR PCP!!!!) BUT I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS WONDERFUL FACILITY! I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE AGAIN!
