Our family has been taking our pets to Caring Hands for many, many years. We are always pleased with the wonderful, knowledgeable care provided for our pets and the friendly, thoughtful service that the human owners always receive.

We have been using this location for the last two years and am really happy with the experience I have had.

Amazing staff. I'm so glad I found this vet. They got my dog in so quickly and the bet and staff were very professional, caring and nice! They are affordable too!

I have been taking my pets here for many years. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. All three of my Dogs come here, and my cat as well! I wouldn't want to take them any where else.

My friend recommended Caring hands to me a little while back and I have been VERY impressed with them. The doctors and nurses are kind and definitely care about your animals. My puppy got bit by a rattlesnake in the summer, and even on the doctor's day off he stepped in to help my baby and she has been fine ever since. Thank you all for your help.

Dr. Koss was amazing. My other vet could not diagnose my dogs problem. Dr Koss figured it out in minutes. His staff was amazing and very helpful. My dog had the surgery the next day and we were in and out. Thank you so much.

I recommend this veterinary practice. Dr Martinez and his staff are lovely. They have helped me with 2 of my dog rescues thus far, and I am more than grateful for all that they do. I am currently stuck in a wellness plan for my own 3 dogs but as soon as my contract is up, I'll be bringing them here too.

I had an emergency last week with my yorkie Coco and took her to the Van Dorn Alexandria location. This is not just an Animal Hospital, this is a congregation of Angels ready to assist your pet in any way and form. They are an amazing group of professionals to whom my family and I will be eternally thankful! Thank you for saving our Coco, for caring not only about our pet, but for providing the best care while understanding that we had a low budget.



I have had pets all my life, consequently I have visited a large number of veterinarians. I had NEVER been so satisfied, as I was last week. Doctors, Lucy, Melissa you all are Angels, may God bless you always!

I really love how Caring Hand's took care of my Zyla! Everyone is so caring and loving to me and my best friend Zyla. She had surgery yesterday and when I picked her up, they were so caring. Thank you to everyone there. I will always bring Zyla there. She wanted to get in the car this morning to come see you all.

I absolutely love this place. They are so genuinely kind... from the people in the front to the vet techs to the vets. My rescue dog had heart worms and I was absolutely heartbroken. Dr. Todd was incredibly sympathetic and walked me through the entire process of what the plan of action was. When I picked her up each time from her treatments (3 in total), they always made sure I was confident in knowing the instructions as far as what medicine to administer, etc. I've been seen by Dr. Todd, Dr. Sites and Dr. Robinson and they are all equally fantastic and knowledgeable. I can usually call and get an appointment right away for just about anything, and it's nice that they are open late (until 8 I think?).



I've also been to the Alexandria location (they did not have an available appointment as soon as I needed it, so they made one there for me, which was nice). The location is clean, just like Arlington, and the staff there is just as great. Caring Hands seems to cost a bit more than other local vets, but it's definitely worth the extra money knowing that your pets are getting fantastic treatment.

Our dog is a patient of Dr. Martinez since she was 3 months old and she is 7 years old now. When he left his former clinic we were saddened because I know our baby feels much comfortable seeing familiar faces. After more than 2 years of searching for him, we found Dr. Martinez here with some of his amazing staff! The hospital manager, Samantha who I remember by face recognized the name of our dog and said she remembers her. Needless to say, our dog is well taken care of. We signed up on a health care plan, dud her mass removal and Dr. Was so caring that he found a mass on our dog's mouth, took it out to ensure her safety. We are so happy. They even took the time to call us the next day to see how our baby is doing. We're so glad to have found Dr. Martinez! He is an amazing vet and has a staff who really cares.

I found Dr. Martinez about 12 years ago and I followed him across town when he purchased a new office. He has always done a wonderful job taking care of my babies and you can tell that he actually cares about their welfare. Both of my girls are on the health plan that he offers and it's saved me so much money with the amount of problems my girls have encountered over the years. He even came to my house to euthanize my previous baby so that she could just fall asleep in her bed with her family holding her. The office staff are always friendly and welcoming and as long as he's around he will be my pets vet.

The staff is amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was attentive, helpful, and were extremely caring towards my dogs. As I asked my questions, they were patient and eager to answer them in a way that was easy for me to understand. The facility is very welcoming and is extremely clean. I was very impressed at my visits.

Annie always receives the best care at Caring Hands. The staff are very gentle and treat her like she was their own. Dr. Martinez is the best.

It was wonderful as usual. It is very nice to know that I can have you as a caring place for my pet when I travel and not have to worry. Thanks to Samantha for being so kind. I will be back with Paddy at the end of September.
