Kevin Cardiff is an excellent craftsman. He setup my violin, fit a new soundpost and reshaped the nut to adjust the grooves. He also repaired four open cracks on the top of the instrument and now it sounds wonderful - I'm hearing overtones I didn't know the instrument was capable of producing. Mr. Cardiff was cordial and extremely patient in explaining what the instrument needed and even took the time to give me advice on how I could maintain the violin myself. He also provided me with a unique humidifer he created himself. Oh, and BTW, as a courtesy, he adjusted and replaced the fittings on the tailpiece gratis. I highly recommend Mr. Cardiff and am so glad someone of his caliber is here in Vagas to provided us with his excellent service! John B.
