This company is outstanding, professional and a sense of humor to boot. The fixed my television and that made my family happy. I have a Vizio flat panel and it would not come on. Brought it to Burkes even though I saw some bad remarks and I am sure glad I did. The remarks are so far from the truth in my opinion. Great job Milton and I will bring my next repair to you only. This customer called and scheduled an appt. We told him over the phone what the problem sounded like and we gave him a ball park figure Estimate. Customer agreed that was fair. We arrived at the location and customer all but told my technician he was a liar and didnt know his business and he appears that he didnt want his tv repaired even though he agreed with the phone estimate and made a scheduled appt. In no way have we done anything wrong nor mislead anyone. Customer didnt even pay for the actually diagnosis that he was given. We have been in business a lot of years and my Technicians are fully qualified to be repairing tv. This is just another unhappy person.

I don't have an experience that would confirm any negative reviews that some disgruntled persons have written. I am in total agreement with the positive reviews listed here for Burkes Electronics. I own a Panasonic VHS/DVD-R that wasn't working for me, and after speaking with Debbi on the phone, she told be I could drop it off and they would take a look at it, and let me know what the estimate would be IF it was repairable and BEFORE they did any work. I left it at their house (near I-95 and Jones) in the middle of the afternoon and they called me the next morning to let me know that it was working perfectly, and that it just needed some settings changed between the new remote and the player. They even went the extra mile to download a .pdf file of the complete operating manual and emailed it to me! They could have easily told me that they had to replace some expensive component or circuit board and charged me for it, and I would not have known any better. As it was, they charged a minor amount for their diagnosis time, cleaned up my player and I was able to pick it up the next day. It works as well as a brand new player now. I appreciate their courtesy, honesty, and good communications with me. Nothing was left to chance and I will certainly utilize their expertise again in the future! You will NOT find any other repair services that are better here in Las Vegas. They will come to you for service on larger items and I highly recommend their services. Thank you Burkes Electronics!

I would not recomend this repair buissness to anyone except people I do not like. I had a reciever there for two weeks and always had to call to find out the status, and got the run around most of the time. They never return your message so don't bother leaving one. And the proprety is dirty, no filthy would be a better word.

We told this customer we would try and repair their unit and that we would probably take a week or so. Had to order parts. They called us every two days and didnt give us a chance to do our job. Results were the parts that needed to be replaced were not readily available and customer was upset and picked up unit and made this bad remark.

Incompetant service provider

Unfortuantely I have nothing positive to say about this company, nor should you choose them for any TV repair issues. The Vizio company used them as a service provider to come and diagnose my plasma TV. They did not meet the confirmed schedule time, and when he should up an hour late there was no apologige. I explained that this was unacceptable, and we need to schedule a followup service call. I contacted Vizio (HD repair) to explain what happened, and that I would like another service provider. They explained that they don't have to many service provider, so they are limited to who they can choose. I gave Burkes Electronics another chance and called them for another appointment. Everything was going good until Milton Burkes called me on my cell to confirm the schedule time. Once we were engaged in conversation he told me that we owed him from the previous service call. I told him that I already paid Vizio (HD repair) $115.00 to have him come out for the diagnostic service. He tried to bulldoze me in paying the previous service call. I told him that I would take it up with Vizio and not to bother to come over, and this point the conversation got very heated over a $45.00 service fee. This company has no idea on how to WOW a customer, let alone how to service one. Once I called Vizio one this issue they sent me to the supervisor to escalate the issue. He explained to that they should have never asked me for additional money, nor is that the policy of Vizio. He also informed me that they did in fact have numerous complaints and infractions on policy's about this service provider, and has now put them on probation period (whatever that means). Burkes Electronics you might want to take some courses in customer service, and understand your agreement with Vizio. I would rather by a new TV then to ever deal, or recommend you to someone else.



P.S. - Customer remember the bad service more than the good service. Take the courses, so you might compete with other service providers.



Never again will I recommend your service to anyone.

First response is we were not late as the time window was from 4-6pm. and we arrived at 5:15pm. Attempted call at 5pm to let the customer know our status and was unsuccessful (with no response). When final response was made and we arrived at location the customer acknowledged that he had a cell phone that was unknown to us until then and he didnt bother to call us to reschedule since there was no power to diagnose. Would not let technician past the front door as the home alledgely had no power according to the customer and cust would not let us remove the tv from location. Customer allegation was that we were incompetent for which he had no grounds to say such a thing. So we left and came back the following day at the same time even though we didnt get a phone response and no one was home. So again we called and set up a third call and when we brought it to the customers attention that someone needs to pay for the no show. The customer decided to make all these alledgations and make us look bad on the internet and to the warranty co. We believe that this customer is just making trouble and was upset that his tv is not working and we were his pawns in his sick game

Good work. Fair pricing

The tech was on time and knowledgeable about my big screen. He did the repair and changed some settings on my unit that I was unaware of. He also cleaned the lenses that have never been cleaned since the back had never been off since it was new.



The charge was a little less than the estimate I had been given on the phone. I would recommend this company to my friends and associates.

Rip-off business

This guy, who portrays himself as a TV repairman, is a fraud, liar, incompetent and uses deceptive practices in the operation of his so called business. He runs his business out of a dirty trailer in the front yard of filthy home and surroundings. He conducts business over his fence. Don't use him, if you do, you will regret your decision

I dont know what customer this is, but we run a very successful shop. As far working at of a dirty trailer that is far from the truth. I can only assume because we didnt give them something for nothing or didnt do something to their liking. This is just a slam on our business. If they would call us and discuss the matter.

perfection at its best!

Burkes Electronice came to my house this morning to repair my Sony 57'' TV. The picture was all messed up on my TV and Burkes Electronics was able to fix the problem on sight at my residence within a reasonable time of about 1 and a half hours. Furthermore, the repair expert for this organization adjusted the settings on my TV and quite frankly the picture on my TV has never been better. I don't know if they are the cheapest guys in town, but I certainly saved alot of money by not having to replace my TV with a new one. They fixed my TV for $250.00 and the quality of the repair is absolutely perfect. Thank You Burkes electronics.
