Drs. Holt and Animal Kindness staff have cared for our pets since 2000. We appreciate their knowledge, expertise, professionalism, and compassion. Dr. Holt presents diagnostic and treatment options with respect to the animal’s quality of life, not merely survival, They truly care for the welfare of their patients, not only business.

I've been coming to Animal Kindness for years to see Dr. Holt and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet. The staff is very kind and friendly, the facillity is clean and comfortable and Dr. Holt is simply a great vet who gives every pet the high quality care and personal attention they deserve.

I brought my Precious and my Princess in today, and I see how this place lives up to its name. I arrived early, and Kayleigh let us in to get out of the heat. Victoria was very informative and pleasant. DVM. Karen M. Goodman was thorough and professional doing the exams on my babies. They are very kind and professional. I won't go anywhere else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANIMAL KINDNESS VETERINARY HOSPITAL TO ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR BABIES AND WANTS THE BEST CARE FOR THEIR BABIES. 10 STARS FOR SURE.

DR. HOLT AND HIS STAFF ARE FANTASTIC. WE HAVE TAKEN ALL OUR ANIMALS FROM RABBITS TO DOGS TO HIM. THESE PEOPLE REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR PETS. DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE

I have multi-critter household, and have gone to Animal Kindess for every kind of issue, from toe nail clipping to major surgery and the staff and Dr. Jay have been wonderful. Their receptionist Kimberly, always has a warm smile and caring attitude for their patience. I would, and have recommended Animal Kindness to anyone who wants the best for their pets.

Every time I have been there, the staff has been very personable, from the receptionists to the kennel workers, and the doctors. Dr. Jay Holt or Dr. Valerie Holt have seen every one of my animals, and I trust their knowledge and expertise without reserve. Its always been a bit difficult for me to find vets willing to see the exotic animals I keep, but these two never batted an eye. I get great personalized service, and don't even think twice about where to take my pets if I get even the slightest inkling that something is amiss with them. Animal Kindness is the place to go with any animal you own, domestic or exotic. Hands down the best vet in the city!

Dr. Jay Holt, Dr. Karen Goodman, and Dr. Valerie Holt are very patient and understanding. One day my dog attacked my rabbit and I wasn't home. My husband was there and was beside himself overexaggerating the problem. When he got to the clinic with her the doctor actually called me to let me know that the problems with the rabbit were minimal and that she would be just fine. My husband on the other hand was unsaveable. ;) Thanks for the personal service and the kindness!!!

I've never personally been there but I kno an employee there and she is one of the greatest and caring person I kno. She loves every animal there like they were her own! Much Love to Ms. Resendiz

I have been coming to Dr. Holt for about 20 years. On numerous occasions he has been there for us. We recently had a very sick pet. Dr. Holt dropped everything to take care of our pet. His excellent knowledge and careing staff keep us coming back. We really like how he keeps up with the latest equipment and training. We are currently having laser therapy done for one of our arthritic animals. The results are amazing. Highly recommend this place for any animal lovers. Dr. Holt also maintains and operates a educational zoo facility in Moapa. His entire family is involved in sharing a large amount of exotic animals with the public. He is a strong supporter of conservation through education. Two thumbs up Dr. Holt

Avoid this vet unless you're willing to open your wallet- WIDE! They charged my husband and I $500 (I kid you not) for a summer cut on one of my cats. We approved an appropriate anesthesia and they bumped it up to the most expensive anesthesia WITHOUT approval. When we arrived, we noticed it on our bill, and the doctor said he would have called us if the amount was more significant!! Needless to say, we paid just to get our cat back but they have lost our business for good. They charge $80 for shots that cost $30 at another local vet. No telling how much money they had made of unsuspecting pet owners, but will NOT be fooling this pet owner again.



Pros: They did send us an update if the cats were due for vaccines
