Great organization. My wife and I fostered and eventually adopted one of our fosters. I've seen the posts about the health and estimated ages of the dogs. Understand that these dogs are RESCUED - you won't get polished puppy mill pet store animals. You will get an animal that will love you forever if you are up to the task of saving them. If you care about animals who have nowhere else to go, this is the place for you.

I have adopted 2 dogs from this group of hard working volunteers. They have been saving dogs for over 15 years! I can't say enough about all their good deeds!

Horrible! The receptionist has absolutely no people skills! I don't know if she's overly passionate about her position or completely miserable but she has a bad attitude and shouldn't be allowed to communicate with individuals if she has the nerve to talk is such a disrespectful manner.

Amazing, caring organization. They go above and beyond trying to save dogs. The dog I have is special needs dog that would never of gotten a chance without this rescue stepping in.

I adopted a doxie that was the sweetest thing ever and her card said she was 8 years old. She had some bladder problems which was fine, I got her a diaper and had her on medication. (She tinkled on me while I was holding her and the lady said it was from "excitement"...she had incontinence.) Well, it turns out that the doxie was really 10 years old (via my first vet visit with her). She had records from another vet office, which the name of the vet office was given to me with her adoption paperwork (So this was information that was readily available to the agency and they chose not to divulge it.) Another piece of information they didn't disclose was that she had a history of tumors. The way I found out was via a phone call with the agency when I informed them she had a current tumor that we weren't certain was cancerous or not and the lady had told me that she had one removed before.

Long story short, my doxie had to be put down a little over a month after adopting her because her tumor was cancerous and was spreading at a ridiculous rate. She was taken to a canine cancer center here in Vegas and the doctor was great, very sympathetic and really hoped there was something we could do. She went peacefully and was a lovely addition to my family for the short time she was here.

Please ask questions and do research on pets (if at all possible) before adopting. Not only from this agency (who was rather pushy about getting their money and getting the dog(s) out the door) or any agency/shelter. Rescue pets are amazing and had I known she had that history, I could have better prepared for taking her in and knowing she didn't have long.

I understand there are a lot of great positive stories from adoption agencies, and mine is definitely one of the unfortunate ones; each animal deserves a loving home and a second chance but it never hurts to do your research and ask questions to make sure it's really a good fit and that you're prepared (entirely) for your new furry companion.

I would def adopt from them, the lady below fails to realize this is not a pet store. These dogs are rescued from people and places. A lot of them have been through a lot of pain and suffering and need the care and attention a new good home can offer. These people put a lot into this organization and really do every thing they can to make sure these dogs are taken care of with what resources they have and try to place them in loving homes. Don't post bs reviews UNLESS you can support them.

I wouldn't adopt a pet from this Rescue. I adopted 2 pups(?) from them and after I took them to the Vet found out that they were 14 mos - 2 years old; they both had baby & adult teeth, tartar on them and one of them had parasites. I had to return the dogs because they made my 6 year old calm dog crazy and would not go to my husband (the Vet thought that they may have been scared by a man).

I happened to meet the new adopters and they were told the puppy (?) was 6 months old even though they had written proof that this was not true. They charged the new adopters for puppies even though they knew this was misinformation.

I also feel that they could have returned some of my money as a good faith gesture.
