Al and his team were so amazing, they saved me! I broke down 50 miles away from Vegas after I had just bought a car in Phoenix. I got the car towed to Triple AAA, and they said they would check it out the next day. Okay, so they checked it out and said I needed a new transmission. I started to cry and freak out because I had work in just two days! I asked how long it would take, and they said usually it would take a month or two, but for them, it would take one to two weeks. I started panicking and called every single place in Las Vegas. I was so desperate that I was bawling my eyes out, saying, "Please fix it today or tomorrow!"

I called this guy named Al, and his place is 1st Choice Transmission & Auto Care. I told him the problem, and he told me to bring it in. He had his mechanics on standby, and he ended up working all night to save me, my job, and my car. He got it done in less than two days. He was so sweet and even offered us a ride, knowing how bad our luck was. I one hundred percent recommend him. He actually cares and is a genuinely good guy. Thank you, and God bless you guys. If it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't have made it home.

I unfortunately could barely drive my car and hated to have to take it to the shop but I already knew that it was the transmission because it was jerking and stalling. I had been driving past this place on my way to church and I said to myself, I am going to take my car there and at least get a quote so then I can know what I'm dealing with as we all know transmission work is often so very costly. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and professional and they handled my issues fast and fairly. I was impressed. I will be coming back there for all my car's needs from now on. (They do more than just transmission work) AL Lake the owner is the coolest guy that I have met who owns a car repair shop. and I thought that they were gonna try to rake me over the coals like every other repair shop in Las Vegas but they didn't they were fair and fast and I will refer all of the church members, family and friends that I know to 1st Choice Transmission.

Al Lake the owner was really nice treats you like a family friend. I had been jerked around from a couple other shops in town, and was referred to 1st choice from a friend of a friend. Top notch service at a fair price and got my vehicle done really quick. I am definitely coming here again and I would highly recommend 1st Choice if your looking for an honest mechanic in Vegas.

When I got my oil changed I found out that my brakes were extremely dangerous to be driving around with. I got very nervous because I need my car everyday to get too and from work and don’t have time for my car to be in the shop. But when I talked to the owner Al Lake he was able to work with my schedule and get my car brakes done ASAP! Now I can feel safer as I am driving around on the road. I highly recommend 1st choice transmission for all of your car needs.

While on vacation in Vegas with 110 deg weather. At 4pm on a Friday my AC went out. I was refered to 1st choice by an employee from autozone. Al, the owner scheduled me for next day at 8 am and prioritized my truck when others were a week out. He was more than fair w/ p&l. My wife said, he saved her life. lol.

Al Lake, the owner of Choice Transmission, simply put is my HERO!. LOOK NO FURTHER THAN CHOICE TRANSMISSION for your repair needs. My transmission died on my trip to Vegas. After a thorough diagnosis, and offering me all of my options, which felt like a discussion with a trusted family member, we decided to rebuild the transmission. I had a deadline waiting for me in Los Angeles so Al and his team worked overtime to get me on the road to home. Oh and did I mention repair costs? Even my mechanic in L.A. was thrilled at the more than fair price for the work. Love you Al!

Al Lake the owner is running great shop. I had some power steering issue and went through many mechanics that never really fixed the problem finally I found this shop AL allowed me to buy the part and he charged for the labor which was really reasonable. He answered all my calls over the time that the car was getting fixed. Great shop. very reliable and honest work.

Excellent workmanship and top notch customer service . I have always been able to get my truck in and out on time and in 1st class condition .. These guys are efficient and reliable just like they're repairs . I depend on my car just like I can depend on 1st choice auto. It's so hard to find an honest and dependable repair shop in this town. This business and owner is that and more .. Look no further cause they really take care of you !!! :-)

Had my clutch replaced after 142K, dropped it off on Monday had it back Tuesday. Price was cheaper than ALL of the other places i called. Got their name from a friend. It's a busy little shop but they handle each customer personally and quickly. Highly recommended

I had my water pump replaced about 8 months ago here, & just recently my water pump's gasket began leaking a small amount. I asked Al, the business owner if I could come in on a certain day & time to have it repaired. He said I could & the repair was done quickly while I waited. The guys did a great job, are very polite & efficient. I would recommend 1st Choice Transmission & Auto Service to anyone.

I was on vacation in Vegas and my transmission started slipping. I needed my car ready by the next day. Other places were closed but 1st Choice not only took my car, made it top priority but fixed it the same day! Amazing people amazing place.
