We were chewed out for 'taking a vehicle four wheeling' because when we brought it back from the test drive, the tires were dirty. We had not taken it off-roading, but we do live down dirt roads, so the tires picked up some dirt. They were very rude to us because of the dirt on the tires, and when we questioned the owner as to why it was a problem that we had driven it down a dirt road he said 'not to worry about it, that we just won't do business together'. We were baffled by this response because we were still talking about returning the next day to close a sale, but we followed his advice and did business elsewhere, with a much happier outcome.
