Excellent gym ive been here for a year now and couldnt be more satisfied. Plan on lifting here for a long time.

Great improvements to this facility of late with an expansion forthcoming. Two government run facilities (the University and the City Rec Center) provide all the incentive to support this great Laramie small business.

Ive been going to Laramie Fitness for about 3 years now and I have to say that what the owner and employees have done for the place from since i first started coming is great. When i first started the owner had a bit of a mess to work with but he has turned it into a polished spot, granted it could be bigger but right now the owner is working on expanding. I would definitely say its worth checking out especially for the price.

After lifting here for almost 2 years, and intermitenly having to go to other gyms around the state, I have found that Laramie fitness has the most enthusiastic and embracing staff. On top of that it is fully stocked and capable to handle a high volume of customers making it easy to come in at any time and have a welcoming and comfortable work out. Overall this gym is the ideal gym for anyone looking to better themselves.

This is by far the best gym in town. The owner has done a ton of renovations in the time that he has been with the gym and has added in so many improvements, including new equipment, a supplement store (Fuel Nutrition), and has remodeled both locker rooms. The gym has an extremely family friendly environment and the employees are professional, courteous, and very helpful. Fuel Nutrition carries any supplement you could possibly ever need and everything is fairly priced as well. I don't think I will ever have a better experience than the one I have had coming to this gym.

Simple gym atmosphere that provides an amazing workout for any type of person. This gym is my home and I couldn't imagine being at a different gym in Laramie!

It would appear that a lot of people came here to complain when they had a bad experience. I've been going to this gym for almost two years now and it has been fantastic. The reoccurring theme with these negative reviews is to complain about the autopay system. When you sign up to do autopay you are agreeing on contract that it can only be canceled if you show up in person to cancel. If you card gets declined by autopay they give you three warnings, three months, to come in and cancel or to pay in person to settle the debt. They make sure to call you and warn you that this has happened. If you're like these other reviewers and are bad at tracking your finances you can prepay instead for a month, half a year, or a year. They give you a lot of options and answer questions about these payment methods. There are some reviews from a few years ago about bad employees, and I can say after coming her for two years almost, the employees are great. They are nice and always willing to spot you or give you workout advice if you ask, because most of them lift. The gym doesn't have that usual gym smell, and the floors and bathrooms are cleaned regularly, as a result of them cleaning so often. If you're probably one of the few people who live in the laramie area and use YP to look at reviews here, do yourself a favor, stop by the gym, and they would be glad to give you a tour and answer any questions. I see people get tours all the time. Also the machines are top quality as are the weights. I've been to gyms with flimsy squat racks and benches, but these are strong and durable. It's often never crowded like the UW gym where people are fighting over machines.

Ryan is a horriable manager and will say anything lie to make you sign a contract!! The business is scum

Staff is friendly, plenty of machines, but the hot tub is always down.

The owner is rude and it goes down to his workers as well. They judge the people that are lifting and not worth the prices. Lift anywhere but here

NOT RECOMMENDED! I have to agree with "aleadeon" in that this company is very unaccommodating and the male staff members are rude and lack decent customer service. The company also uses outdated methods when conducting business. I moved out of town and forgot to submit, in WRITING, my intention to cancel. I called 5 days into the next billing cycle and politely asked if they'd be willing to help me out and refund the money since I would not be using their facilities. The male rep was very unaccommodating and would only repeat their policy on contracts. Although they have more workout facilities than Laramie Rec Center, I would NOT recommend Laramie Fitness for how they treat their customers, their prehistoric methods of doing business and their unwillingness to work with customers. I mean, if they need the money that bad, they'res probably a reason for it.

Their facilities are pathetic, they might be working to make things better but the process is slow and the people who work there are rude and unhelpful. They completely screwed me out of a months full of membership because of their ridiculous auto pay rules. I work out of town and they charged me for a whole month because they wouldn't let me pause my membership over the phone. DO NOT GO HERE.
