This is the second time I have had bad luck with Maytag. The first time had been when I called on my Maytag wash machine. The repair man came and I was told the control panel would need to be replaced.......possibly $400.00 or more dollars.



Now my Maytag range has quit working and I need to replace the control panel . Again, possibly $400.00 or more dollars.



I decide it would be cheaper to replace the items. Upon going to the store to shop for another range I was told that Maytag's are notorious for the contrlol panels not working and breaking down. I had wished someone had told me this in the first place. I' m on a fixed income and you might say, I'm certainly not made of money.

So when purchasing a Maytag item remember........notorious for the control panels to break down.

I called them on Monday afternoon. They said they would be in my area Tuesday afternoon between noon and four. They arrived at 12:30. It took the repair man less than five minutes to figure out what the problem was.
