Black Child and Family Institute, also known as BCFI, offers a range of educational programs and computer technology training and financial literacy services for individuals and families. Founded in 1986, the company provides leadership development, job shadowing and mentoring services. Black Child and Family Institute features an on-site computer laboratory. It offers the Academic Cultural Enrichment Scholars Program, which provides tutorial services for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Black Child and Family Institute maintains the Summer Academic Enrichment Institute, which works to strengthen the social skills of students in kindergarten through grade eight, as well as provides breakfast and lunch options.
