Judge Nash presided over my case today. The word on the street about her ethics and bias opinions was not favorable. It was cause for concern for me. But I have to say that I did not see one spec of bias or favoritism be shown in this judges actions. I did not get the judgement I asked for, but it was due to the lack of evidence provided at the hearing, not a prejudice in my opinion. The plaintiff speaks first then the defendant. I did not know I would not be given the opportunity to speak again or negate any of the defendants claims and for the sake of brevity, I only stated that I was hired to do a job, did it and the defendant wouldn't pay. The defendant went on a tangent complaining about everything I did in life to offend her and I did not interrupt out of respect for the judge and was waiting for the judge to say I could speak and she called it. So if you are the plaintiff, just know you have to defend yourself against any and everything the defendant might say, Prior to them saying it.
