I just want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to Gina in the Customer Care section. I had a problem with incorrect billing and Gina put forth in my opinion continuous effort until my problem was corrected. Gina took care of my incorrect billing problem in an extremely efficient amount of time and made it a point to continuously stay in communication with me until the issue was resolved. Wow! If this experience was just luck, then I made out real, real good. However, If this is routine for the customer care section at Select Security, then this business will be around for a long, long time.

James called me in advance to advise me of his arrival time. He was prompt and friendly.
He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the new system to me. He answered my questions and was patient with my lack of “electronic” skills. James was a
pleasure to work with. I like the new system. It is up to date and seems easy to use.

Select Security does in fact stand behind their work. I initial received equipment that malfunctioned and had poor connection however, when I called customer service a young lady name Jill Riffey provided me with personal care that felt genuine and followed up with me to let me know the status of me service appointment. Daryl (area manager) and Dan came out and really spent time to troubleshoot the issue and ultimately replaced the hardware after the deemed the panel inoperable. They were courteous, took the time to do quality work and ensured that I was happy with the work before they left. I now have the package that I was promised by the Jared the salesman who sold me the upgrade from my original package.

Mistakes are inevitable but the way to keep customers returning will always reside in how a company responds to complaints and unsatisfied customers. I can honestly say that I am completely satisfied with the service I received and the new equipment. Thank you Daryl & Dan for being a positive reflection of a company who has recently gone through a brand transformation but kept the same employees around who pay attention to detail and take a customer-centric approach to resolving problems. What I appreciate the most is the fact that the company honored the customer agreement without increasing my monthly payment for providing working equipment. If anyone reading this review is looking to upgrade to the latest security package, I highly recommend Select Security. I am a happy customer now and will spread the good news to my network and multiple social media platforms over the next 30 days. Too often we hear stories when companies fail and not enough success story. I truly thank all parties involved for the level of effort put into resolving my issue and I look forward to a long business relationship.

Professional and courteous service. Top of the line equipment. Easy installation. Accessibility is top notch.

We had a disturbing event today, our alarm went off for no reason. We, being very old & unknowing panicked. Your representative Kaila very professionally, handed the situation , explaining what had occurred, calming us down & assuring us that your system will correct itself &wee would be safely covered.

Thanks for her & her diagnosis that gives us trust that you are protecting us adequately .

I'm located in Charlotte, NC and my service technician Blake provided excellent customer care and service to meet my family's home security needs. He was very knowledgeable of Select Security's products and was willing to assist in demonstrating how everything worked. I would recommend Select Security to any consumer!

Do not use this company. I just switched to Security First after Select Security realized they had not been monitoring my fire and carbon monoxide alarm since 2005. They didn't even give me my money back. What a bunch of crooks. Beware.
