Frustrated! I have acrylic nails and I get gel polish over them. I work with money so regular polish chips very easily. I am new to the area so I thought I would try them. Big mistake, nail tech was rude. When trimming my cuticles I asked her to trim the sides as well, she told me I would have to pay an extra $10 for a manicure. ( isnt this what a balance consists of?) I use dark pink rather than light pink acrylic, when she started my full, I told her the pink she was using was light, she informed me it was an extra $5 since she had to switch container. (WHAT??) I considered leaving and going somewhere else , I was worried I wouldn't be able to find someone to finish, so I paid the extra $5. It has been 4 days and the gel is literally peeling off. So frustrated and disappointed. I will not go back, all said and done it was $45 before it. RIP off!!

Ive been getting my nails done at a different nail salon in Lancaster for over 8 years and recently went to get a nail balance and was charged 58 dollars (without tip) I was wowed by the total . I had people tell me nail tek was a good place to get them done so when it was time to get my nails done again I called nail tek And asked about prices it was $30 for a gel balance and $2 to fix a nail which fell off. I then called the place I had been going to for over 8 years they said $35 gel nail balance and $3 for nails that fell off, I said so that's it I was then told depending on the length it could be an additional $5 per nail. After hearing this I made my mind up I was going to try nail tek out. I was there for about an hour and a half with them working on my nails I thought to myself they for sure gonna charge me more for how long it took but once cashing out I was surprised to hear my total was only $32 dollars like I was told. I will continue going to nail tek from now on my nails look awesome! I will say it's a smaller building and a older design from where I was going but other then that the service was just the same!
