I first encountered meeting Dr. Kristina Wittig MD in October, 2015 at the Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster, Ca. I was in the hospital because my kidneys stopped functioning completely and I had a prostate problem, unable to urinate. She was called in to insert a catheter, because I wouldn’t let the attending R.N. do her job. I was in total pain and scared. Dr. Wittig was very consoling and tried to calm me down. I wound up giving her a hard time. She said she was going to give me a few NARCOs and come back in a few minutes. It totally relaxed me and when she returned, she quickly inserted the catheter. Then she gave me her business card and said to make an appointment with her thirty days after my being discharged from the hospital. She said that I needed to have a prostate surgery. I then scheduled for surgery at the Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster, Ca. She performed my surgery which I so desperately needed. We didn’t meet on the best of terms at first; but now we are best of friends. She’s been my urologist since. Dr. Wittig is a true professional, knowledgeable, courteous, intelligent, kind and caring individual. I throughout the year visit her with a card and gift on her birthday,Valentines day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
