BEEF up security....I do not blame the The Purple Martini for any mishaps that occur but I do think they should not allow people to hang out in the parking lot. It is a bit intimidating when you walk out of the club after a few drinks and there are packs of people sitting around. As a female I do not feel safe walking out of the club. The Antelope Valley used to be safe but due to some recent transplants we can no longer feel safe. Security guards need to carry a weapon to not only protect themselves but protect the patrons as well. There have been a few incidents that I know where friends of mine were harrassed or robbed in the parking lot. It is understandable that the security if for the club, but someone could make sure that a police cruiser rides by every so often.

The Purple is a great place to listen to live music, dance, and have a couple of drinks, but beware of the people who like to 'parking lot pimp.' Being inside of the club you forget about the outside environment. I suggest you travel in a group of 5+ just to be on the safe side. Don't pull out all the stops to go to the club. Of course dress sharp but leave the BMW, Mercedes, Jags, Infinitis, jewelry, Iphones at the house. Borrow a 2002 Nissan Sentra and head to the club. Have a good time...you may not pull any women that night, but people you rather make it home alive than meet your next ex-wife!!!!

This secluded club is located in Lancaster, CA. and is open WED, FRI SAT & SUN! The doors open @ 9pm, they have no cover charge (at least on WILD WED) and they have $1 drinks before 10pm...including other drink specials ALL NIGHT! They have hot bartenders, cool crowd and atmosphere, security, 2 levels for VIP when the place is PACKED! AND even GOGO DANCERS!!! This place is where its at-especially in the Antelope Valley. If you havent been there and are looking for a CLASSY place to party....go on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS to the purple martini!
