I believe it was closed only for remodeling. I love the New To You thrift shop. It is under new management.. I miss the Scots lady manager and some of the older clerks but the store has several good improvements and better hours. I don't know if they have started taking credit / debit cards. It is much neater than before remodeling. It still has good bargains, but I miss it having a lot of junky areas where you could often find real antiques. Prices are still good. It is good they support hospice and the hospital.



I found a metal winged hood ornament there with a molded date of 1937 on the inside. It was in my basket but when I got to the register, the 99 cent hood ornament was gone. 'Not unusual, I caught someone at Costco taking things from my basket rather than walking to the back of the store to get his own,.

The best thrift shop in town for buying or making donations. Unlike some thrift stores all the money earned goes directly to their charity (hospital). They accept all usable small items (unlike some stores in the area that want to pick and choose out of your donation) and will even do pick ups on fridays free of charge. The staff is volunteer and they are all very friendly. Plus they have the lowest prices in town most clothing is only $1.00 with a few exceptions.
