Most dishonest, underhanded, deceitful business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.



I went to get my car smogged and called ahead to ask if the coupon on their website was still valid and whether I could just write down the coupon code instead of printing it out. The person on the phone said it would be fine, just mention the coupon when I arrive.



When I arrive, both of the employees deny having any idea what I am talking about, saying they remember no phone call about the coupon. I had only called about a half hour earlier making it very unlikely they had swapped staff.



Instead of the $30 I was promised with the coupon over the phone, they now wanted me to pay $58 and basically took it for granted I would just buckle and pay it because I was already there.



Having called several shops for prices I figured perhaps I had went to the wrong one so I called the same number while I was sitting in their office. The second the phone rang I knew they were just lying to me. I stood up and told them I was promised $30 on the phone and I will not do it otherwise.



They gave in and said it would $38 because they would need to electronically send the smog report to the DMV which would explain the extra 8 dollars. I shouldn't have even caved to that but I accepted it just to get it over with.



Lastly, while I am sitting in their office waiting, the youngest of them came in and was mumbling under his breath about how 50 dollars isn't even that expensive which he clearly thought I could not hear.



Not ONLY did they go out of their way to deceive me but they have the gall to whine about not getting me to fall for their scam under their breath while in the same room as me. I have never been more disgusted with a business in my life and if the BBB wasn't a huge scam itself, I would report them.
