Here is the work Carrig and Dancer did for me: 1. John Mansfield (JM) Climate pro in attic- Filled to about R60 AWESOME!! http://www.specjm.com/products/blownin2/climatepro.asp 2. Crawl Space- Filled all floor penetrations, wrapped water pipes with R11, installed unfaced R30 Battshttp://www.specjm.com/products/unfaced2/soundcontrolrolls.asp Here is my experience with them: Steve was an excellent salesman. He explained everything and even was willing to negotiate some technical points after I became educated in the JM product line. He is very knowledgeable, honest and accommodating. The workers Tot and Randy were both outstanding. Did an excellent job. Very detailed and thorough. Note that I am not the best customer as I am very meticulous and "picky." At first I was a bit hesitant to use Carrig and Dancer as I could not find much information on their company. However, they have been arround for 25+ years and were one of the first Puget Sound Energy qualified insulation contractors. They are so well respected by PSE that when I called PSE regarding inspection, they said "no need to inspect Carrig and Dancer as they do good work" So the inspector did not even want to schedule an inspection as they trust Carrig and Dancer's work. Good sign. One of the reasons I was skeptical with Carrig and Dancer was the price. Their price was definitely THE most competitive (for all three jobs (walls, floor, ceiling)). While I could get it done a little cheaper if I used three SEPARATE contractors to do the three tasks independently, that was not worth the hassle. I am so glad I went with Carrig and Dancer. They did an OUTSTANDING job to my COMPLETE SATISFACTION. Steve even stopped by at the beginning of the job to show me the "before" infra-red camera shots of my walls, then he stopped by when the job was complete to show me the "after" infra-red camera shots of my walls to ensure no spots were missed. Again, Tot and Randy did an outstanding job to ensure that NOTHING was missed. No other company offered before and after camera shots. I would HIGHLY recommend this company as it is unusual to find this level of experience (Tot has been with the company since 1980), dedication and quality for such a competitive price. I also HIGHLY recommend the JM product over cellulose as it is much better quality (I researched both and JM is the best). http://www.specjm.com/residential.asp
