As a guy the toughest thing was getting up my nerve to walk in the door. After that it has been great. I was always the guy watching people dance, now I have learned salsa bachata cha cha rumba merengue east coast swing. I am very pleased with my instructors and the great people who are also learning. Beyond Dancing really, truly is as wonderful as the other reviews claim! For me, the fact that their instructors have been there for several years or more, means that they really get to know you, and determine the particular way you learn. The "group" lessons are actually almost as personal as private lessons. The Beyond Dancing instructors have an uncanny ability to spot what you need to work on, to really spiff up a given dance step or style. Because I take advantage of their 2 locations, I can dance as many nights a week as I want. So I've really gotten to know quite few of the other students. No matter what your dancing level is, tyro to expert, you'll have a great time at Beyond Dancing, from the beginners, intermediate, and advanced group classes and private lessons, and also at the monthly parties, clubbing nights out, and even a Bahama cruise!

My 16 year old daughter has been dancing at the studio for just over a year. Initially, I was skeptical but she has had an incredible experience and enjoys every time she goes. The highlight of her week is always her dance lesson. Professionalism and caring are inherent to the business. Everyone is made to feel included and no one is ever left out. Individual lessons are tailored to your level of experience and interests. I am pretty critical and I give instruction and instructors high marks! Group classes are included in your fees which makes their programs a good value. For those who wish to socialize several in house activities are planned and for those with a keen interest in dance there are showcases and outings available. The owners, Francisco and Rachel are fabulous, classy people who really are sincere in their efforts to make everyone happy. They really do treat dancers like family.

I have been taking ballroom dance lessons exclusively with "Beyond Dancing" for the past two years. In addition to a great program/curriculum for their students, the Beyond Dancing instructors try to see each student as an individual and brings out the best in each one of us as a dancer and as a person. Beyond Dancing is a fun and happy environment. It is my "dancing family"!

Great instructors, friendly atmosphere. From beginners to advanced, everybody feels at home. A lot of fun whether you're single or want to come with a partner. The best!

Beyond Dancing is an excellent studio and I would recommend it to anyone. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and superb dancers. You not only learn dance steps; you gain technique, styling, body conditioning, aerobic exercise and applicable life lessons. They provide private lessons, numerous classes and social dancing opportunities. Never be bored again!

If you're thinking of taking dance classes, I can tell you this....The Dance Team at Beyond Dancing is a great place to go. They're are patient, attentive, and thorough. It's wonderful exercise, and a great excuse to get out of the house for an evening with your partner or just by yourself. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.

I always wanted to learn ballroom/latin dancing, but never did because I was too afraid to try. This is a great place to start. The instructors are wonderful and the environment is relaxed and fun. It's a great way to meet new people and exercise too. I am learning really fast and can't wait to learn enough to go to one of their "Latin Night Out" events!!! 5 stars for Beyond Dancing.

A great place for beginners for for experienced dancers. The instructors made me feel very comfortable. The program is extremely organized and offers lots of extras that you will not find at other studios...yoga classes to improve flexibility, etc. It really is a wonderful place to get started or improve your skills if you are already a dancer.

The employees of Beyond Dancing are skillful in the art of dance and care about their students...they go beyond the art of dancing! Highly recommended.

Too pushy to sale...

They changed their name but Laura is the one behind this studio. They have not fulfilled their responsibility with their old students... She built several buildings in Costa Rica with my money. I'm still waiting for a refund from these people. If they had a minus star that would be my rating.
