We went with Integrity Windows & Doors, in large part, because of positive reviews on Angie’s List, plus they’re local and the salesman seemed knowledgeable and came out right away. On April 29th we ordered the doors and gave them a $750 deposit. He told us it takes 6 to 8 weeks for them to come in. At 8 weeks I called them after no contact from them. He told me they wanted to come out July 1st but he had to call the salesman to confirm something and would call me back. I never heard back from him. I called back inquiring about the July 1st appt. He said, no they weren’t coming after all -- how about July 8th (bright & early was the time I was given). So, by 9:30am on July 8th when no one showed up and I received no phone call, I called them. Apparently the installer’s truck was broken down on the side of the road and could someone call us back that evening to reschedule. At this point, we were a bit skeptical and unhappy and the owner called us back and asked if we wanted our deposit refunded. We said no, we just want the doors we ordered 10 weeks ago installed. We then rescheduled for the following Wednesday, July 15th. The installers showed up around 8:15am and proceeded to install the doors. I noticed one of the new doors leaning against the house prior to install and realized they were not the correct handles. We ordered satin nickel door handles and they sent the doors with white plastic handles. After 11 weeks, they didn’t even bother to make sure the order was correct. I called again and spoke with the salesman, who said they would have to put in another order and it would take an additional 2 to 3 weeks for those and they would come back and switch them out. They said I should call back July 29th to follow up. That evening when we tried closing the blinds, we found they did not tilt up or down entirely to close. They make it about 70% and stop. So, there’s no way to close them completely for privacy. I called back the next morning to ask if this was normal and he said no, they should close to about 95% and said they would put in a service call to the manufacturer (and he would add that to the door handle request). I called back on July 30 following up on the door handles. He said they were waiting on the mini-blinds to come in and would service the blinds and install the correct door handles at the same time. Polaris would call me directly, but if I don’t hear anything in another week (now we’re at 3-1/2 months) to give them a call back. I have no idea who we’re even dealing with now (Integrity or Polaris). I feel once they had the order and deposit, they could care less 1) when they came out to install them; 2) if the order was correct 3) if the doors worked properly 4) if we were satisfied. I think he charged us more than normal (based on comparisons of work done on Angie’s List), but I thought we would be getting a quality door and service. I would never recommend this company and I’m sorry I went with them. As of now, we have the doors installed with the wrong handles and tilt blinds that do not close fully for any privacy... I regret not getting our deposit back on July 1st. The quote on their sales literature is “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a good price is remembered” -- I feel we received poor quality and a very high price.

From the start of the process with Integrity Windows I have always been treated with respect, and never felt any pressure to move forward with the sale. Cary immediately set the tone, that he was there to answer questions and help wtih information, but would leave the pace to us. Once we decided on purchasing the windows the time from signing the contract to installing the windows and sliding door in my house was just over 3 weeks.

The men that installed the replacement windows worked with great efficiency and professionally installed 10 windows and a sliding glass door in less then a day. They were very professional, being very flexible and informative during the process. Cary has made several trips to our house to help with the process, and showed integrity and professionalism at every step.

The quality of the windows is awesome, we've only had the windows in for a week, but am impressed with the different the windows have made so far.



This entire process has met or EXCEEDED my expectations as every step. There is nothing that could have been done differently to impress me more.
