I brought my cat here to get spayed & it’s been a emotional week. I dropped her off at 7:00am and picked her up at 4:00pm (their drop off and pick up time). When I got home with my cat I noticed wet food thrown in her carrier like they just kept her in her carrier all day and tried feeding her in it! When I took her out of her carrier she could barley walk and was falling to the side, but I figured that was just from the anesthesia. A few hours later she just did not look well. She wasn’t responding to me or my husband what so ever. That night around 10:00pm I noticed she finally got up to go get some water but still didn’t eat. The next morning she seemed more alert but not fully back to herself. I did not see her eat much so I kept an eye on her. That evening she vomited. 48 hours later she was still not eating and was heaving and vomiting bile. I called Spay Today around 10:00am and they told me a tech would call me back. 2:30 came and still no call back so I called again, the receptionist kept saying she couldn’t hear me and hung up, literally 4min after being hung up on by the recep the tech called asking what was wrong with my cat. I explained and she had said There was nothing they can do since they do not carry the medication or equipment at their facility and it didn’t sound like it was related to the operation and she recommended I take her to our local family vet. $294 vet bill later my sweet girl is on antibiotics and a probiotic for a bacterial infection she got while being at Spay Today! She is still sore from her Spay and can barley walk, she still isn’t eating much and just doesn’t seem like her self which breaks my heart. I wished I would have never taken her to get fixed at Spay Today! It’s true when they say you get what you pay for. They’re so cheap because they don’t care about your Pet, and send them home sick.

Low cost, high quality clinic!

We were concerned about taking our blue heeler mix in to be spayed before she turned 6 months old. Some of our friends advised us it wasn't good for their emotional state. After much consideration, my husband and I decided to have her spayed at 4 1/2 months old. Spay Today also said if we brought her in before she turned 5 months old, they would charge us $60, which we found very affordable. Our vet was going to charge $375 for spaying and overnight care.Even though this was a little bit of a trek for us, (our puppy has some anxiety on car trips) we made the journey just fine. We dropped her off at 7:30 am and found it very easy to find their establishment. It is one light just passed Jewel and Wadsworth (I think the sign is 1845, definitely a number of some sort). The staff were all very friendly! The clinic environment was clean. I loved the artwork on the wall and the information on how many pets they have spayed/neutered to date.It made me feel very good to see our puppy going back with a friendly staff member with her tail wagging as she went.Drop off and pick up went very smoothly. Upon pick up, a tech went over all the instructions and gave us pain meds for our puppy to take the next few days. She took the time to explain everything to us, send post op instructions home with us, and answer any questions we had.Her first evening home she was a little whiny, but by morning was her old cheerful self again and has been ever since! All in all, we would definitely use Spay Today again if we needed a pet spayed or neutered!
