Hunter Valley Riding Academy offers quality horseback riding instruction and horse training. While predominately a Hunter/Jumper barn, our instructors also have backgrounds in dressage, western, and combined training. For the beginner rider to the advanced competitor, we offer a variety of training and lesson programs tailored to help riders achieve their goals while staying within their budget. HVRA offers private, semi private and group riding lessons. Wonderful school horses are available and there are lots of great horses available on site for full or half lease. Our facility, Heartland Ranch, has the added benefit of being within a 30 minute drive from most parts of San Diego County and plays host to the ECHO Hunter/Jumper Horse Shows so you can experience showing without the added expense of stabling and hauling off property.
