Dr. Jackson had been my primar...

Dr. Jackson had been my primary vet for a few years. His staff is very friendly, but the doctor himself leaves more to be desired. About two weeks ago, we brought my nine-year old dauschund to Dr. Jackson's office because her eye was swollen. He dodged any questions my family asked and gave her simple antibiotics. We scheduled for a few of her teeth to be pulled because they were rotting, and since she hadn't been spayed, we decided it would be easier to have that done while she was under for the teeth cleaning and pulling. Dr. Jackson said this COULD be done and scheduled the procedure for the next day.

We picked her up after her surgery and we noticed that she was breathing very heavily. Jackson said this was "post-operative" and would not answer any questions we had. When our dog was home, she suffered until she died on my lap at 1am in the morning.

In short, my family believes that Jackson knew she was going to die. He never told us the risk of putting an old dog on anesthesia and dodged our questions about her condition. I will never take any of my other pets back to this vet office ever again.

2nd Generation Vet DVM, Skilled Animal Surgeon, Caring Staff

I've been to other Vets offices where I was told by an animal owner that for eye surgery that other Vet had recommended Animal Medical Clinic, Dr. Jackson is a 2nd Generation Vet, DVM. He was in Who's Who one year.

An animal lover helped me save a family of feral cats. They were sickly, but lived decades after I found them with the help of this clinic. 2 Clinics turned down care for

the mother cat when she formed a tumor. Another Vet told would me it wouldn't be worthwhile to operate on her.

Dr Jackson operated without hesitation.. He removed all the tumor, the biopsy showed it was cancerous. She healed very quickly despite a violent reaction to wearing the head tent and had many years of health before growing a 2nd tumor. The 2nd surgery was just as successful, with a clean quick healing. Unfortunately, within a month the cancer metastasized. The Doctor always followed up himself after surgery. From what I've seen he's a gifted animal surgeon.

Both of her grown kittens needed special care. The staff was caring and helped me

provide that care. Of the many animals who I had to put down at end of life, and I always waited until they told me they were in too much pain, the Doctor performed the task quickly, with compassion.

My last cat is like my child after 21 years, both the staff and Dr. Jackson have been

patient and helpful when she was diagnosed with CRF suddenly after eating a

small amount of the tainted melamine cat food.

The place to go if you care about your animal like they are family!
