This is an icon of Lake County. Kathy is a sweetheart and her charm is unique. The view is fantastic and the food is all homemade. It is worth a visit.

Six people inside. Sat at bar. Waited about five minutes. We were not even acknowledged. It's been over ten years since I've been here. If it were the last restaurant on earth, I would never go back. It is obvious to me that unless they know you, you don't matter. If there was a lower ranking than one star, they would have earned it. I can count the number of restaurants I've walked out of on one hand. I'm not that fussy, but this is my worst experience. EVER!! We were there long enough to hear another patron complain about the drink prices. I've noticed that service has eroded severely in most places, but this was ridiculous. I've never felt so unwelcome anywhere.

Try the cheeseburger and homemade fries on the patio by the lake. Beer is always cold and the service is very friendly.
