Please don't use company.! Daniel is out to just make a buck and cares little about the quality of his appraisals and is completely unaccountable for poor appraisals that he makes. After receiving a low appraisal for a home refinance, I reviewed the comps that he had chosen and saw a few glaring errors, (like choosing a comp house right on the corner of major road and neglecting to use a house that sold only a few doors down within the last 6 months) When I contested the appraisal he was unresponsive and when he finally did respond he said that the all factors were considered in his appraisal. However, there are no details in his report that account for the location of the house on the busy corner or the reason why he chose not to us a very appropriate comp down the street. His poor appraisal now means that we have to pay $111/mo in PMI. It's really too bad that my only recourse to his poor appraisal is to post online comments. It's also too bad that his poor judgement is costing me a lot of money every month. Overall a very maddening and disappointing experience.
