Well, this was quite a pleasant experience. The prices were in line with Wall mart or Winn-Dixie. Everyone in the store was friendly, talkative and most helpful. Although the isles are narrow, there was still plenty of room...until you come to a display of something piled up the the ceiling. But, we went there for the meat. The walk in cooler was something I never had encountered before, it reminded me of the blizzard of '66 in Upstate NY....take your winter coat with you when you go, and make sure you know what you're looking for. This is no place to dilly-dally. My wife's nose and cheeks sure were rosy when we left there. We purchased a package of Porter House steaks. 3 nice big ones in the package. Couldn't wait to throw one on the grill. We decided to only cook one because of the size, it was more than enough. Delicious and tender. The price was very reasonable too. The seafood section looked nice too, but that's another trip. Oh, don't miss the bakery, the bread was out of this world.......and the goodies all around, I gained 3 pounds just sniffing the air. This is going to be my new favorite place to shop.

Please avoid this place. It's a cross between a grocery store from the 80's and a bodega.The deli advertises Thumans products. " I'd like a pound of Thumans roast beef" " We dont have Thumans, we got roast beef, its all the same" I watched the deli manager challenge a customer to a fight because the cutomer dared to complain about how slow the service was. " You wanna run dis deli, Ill train ya.' I know this company is based in New York and apparently the people working in the Hypoluxo Road store think thats how New Yorkers should act. However those of us down here from New York know and expect better. The prices are nothing special, the meat department is an actual walk in cooler tiny, cramped and freezing.
